Awh look at her in the snow hee hee! The dogs really enjoyed the snow didn’t they! Me and Oscar have my sisters dog Banjo staying with us this week as my sister just had her first baby and is still in hospital. The two dogs are gettin on really well. Oscar is delighted to have another dog about even though Banjo is quite bossy sometimes. We would love to meet up with Lola again. I told Conor all about her and showed him the pics and he thinks she is lovely.

If you have not had a home visit yet you will need to have that carried out before you can adopt a dog through DID. You will be asked if there are dogs you are interested in and can include Lola when the visit is carried out.January 16, 2010 at 2:29 pm #89726breffniMemberHi
Fidelma did my home visit in early December and we were approved to adopt. The only thing is we applied to adopt a dog and Lola comes under adopt a pup. I don’t know if that makes any difference?
Thanks

January 22, 2010 at 12:17 am #92882MauraMemberHi all. Well Little Lola is fantastic and such a sweetheart. She is a very clever little girl and is so easy to teach. She has brushed up on her ball skills and loves to play fetch. She understands everything I say to her.She is such a gentle and cuddly little girl. She now waits for the postman and when he drops the mail in the letterbox she goes and brings it to me. She started doing it all by herself. She loves watching T.V and adores Animal Planet and sits watching it for ages. She also likes cartoons. She is hopefully off to a new home on Sat where she will give so much to her new family. A few pics on the way. Maura.

January 24, 2010 at 9:12 pm #93026MauraMemberWell Little Lola went off to her new home with Trish and family for the second time in a year and I must say I was in bits again as usual. It doesn,t get anyeasier at all. She has gone to a fantastic home and she will be loved and cared for by the whole family. She has settled in nicely and is enjoying all her new human playmates. I,m so happy for her as she is one great little girl. Best of luck my little one. Lots of love and hugs. Mammy Maura. xxx
