Lola has been with me for just over a week now and really is the sweetest little girl. She is quite timid with new people or situations but she has been improving all the time and is getting better and better when she meets strangers and getting used to new people in much less time. She has settled into the house like she has always been here and loves her new big brother Toby although she is not sure yet about the cat and is a little bit scared of her but is also quite curious so I think they will be fine in time. She has also become so playful and puppyish which is great to see and she is full of fun (although her new habit of jumping up on the kitchen table is one I am not so sure about
). She really is the most affectionate and happy little dog and just loves her cuddles and attention. Lola went to doggy daycare yesterday for the first time with Toby and got on great there, sleeping all evening after her day of fun. Some photo’s of her are below.

Out walking with Toby

Relaxing in her lovely new bed from the Wagging Tail although she is also partial to a snooze on the sofa beside Toby ![]()

Thanks to everyone in DID for allowing me to adopt this lovely little angel…and to Lola’s lovely fosterers who looked after her so well ![]()
Well little Lola is still doing great…she is an absolute pet, very sweet and affectionate and full of fun and play. I can’t believe that its only 3 months since she arrived as it feels like she has always been here. She is still quite nervous of new people (and the cat) although it is improving but I am continuing to work on it with her. She is a very happy little dog and absolutely loves her brother Toby, the pair of them spend all their time playing and having fun together, she also loves her cousin who is a Springer Spaniel, its pure madness when the two of them are together (even Toby leaves them to it
). She is still going to doggy daycare at DTI which she loves and has completed her obedience training now too so I’m hoping to let her try agility next as I think she might really enjoy that and it might help build her confidence even more.

Lola is an absolute beauty!
she looks so content with you,
well done.
Awh thanks Guys…she is a real sweetheart (and a total lunatic
)…I love her to bits ![]()
