She is a lovely little thing with the smallest face I have every seen on a dog and danity legs, she is a quiet and reserved little girl but coming out of her shell a little bit now. When she arrived in the house she found herself a little spot on the couch and just slept all evening and night never moved she must have been exhausted, and she was the same on Saturday morning so I just left her to her own devices. Eventually she ventured down and had something to eat, and looked a little perkier.
She is definitely house trained as we have had no accidents in house whatsoever. My friends called over on Saturday evening with their little girl and Lilly went straight over to her and sat on her knee and cuddled into her for the night so she is obviously well used to children.
She does not pay much attention to Dexter and Bonnie she just does her own thing. All in all a very impressive little lady who would make a great pet for someone, hopefully she won’t be long finding her forever home and she can start living her life again.
I will try and put up some pictures later on.

August 29, 2012 at 5:11 pm #111209bellasmumMemberOh I love the pics.
I had the pleasure of collecting this little one from the pound and bringing her to meet her lovely foster mum.
She was so so so scared, so teeny. I just wanted to bring her home and love her.
She looks so so good in her pics. She really deserves a loving forever home.
September 1, 2012 at 5:10 pm #111264DowlingcaMemberWell I cannot say enough about this little girl we are madly in love with her she is a quiet lady that just oozes love she is happiest when sitting on you knee and she puts her head on your chest and looks into your eyes and your heart just melts. The differnce in her since she arrived is amazing she is the first now to greet us in the morning and loves her walks we let her off the lead now and comes straight back to you when called. She will now sit on command too. When she first arrived i would have said she would only probably suit a house as an only dog as she was better with people than other dogs but now she is as thick as thieves with our two and snuggles into them on the couch, so I think she would now also suit a house with other dogs, sorry for the long rant but I can’t help myself, dying to see her settled into a permanent house where she can put down her four legged roots.
September 6, 2012 at 10:18 am #110973DowlingcaMemberJust a little update on Lily she is still doing really well and is turning into a lovely little confident girl, she is spotless around the house, and one of the quietest dogs I have ever seen I still have not heard her bark!!!!! we have 3 little 12 year old students staying with us at the moment as she is loving the attention and loves them to bits and equally they love her so I know that she will be good with children, I will be lucky if she is not put in a suitcase and brought back to Italy at the end of the week. I really hope she finds a forever home soon for her own sake but she is one of the best house guests I have had.
September 19, 2012 at 8:24 am #111482laineyMemberThe gorgeous Lily is on her holidays in Wicklow with me this week .
She has the prettiest little face and an equally wonderful disposition. To say she LOVES people is an understatement…….she is absolutely in her element once she has a "person" to snuggle . It took her about half a day to feel comfortable with my canine terrorists but she immediately buddied up with them and is now a fully fledged member of their "gang"! If there is a human around she will sleep cuddled up with them, if not she will find a doggy to curl up with and I think she has been eyeing up the cats in their beds as next on her list .
Lily would be fantastic in a home with children of any age, dogs of any size and as many cats as you could throw at her. She is a timid little thing which just makes her all the more adorable……..she’s a very special little lady who deserves to find her equally special home.
