Can’t wait to meet this gorgeous girl and think Casey and Taylor are now well rested and ready for a new addition to the clan. New bed is out and ready to go!!!!!
awhhh….so cute ! and what a great family friend she would make ![]()
Well this beautiful girl has been with us since sunday evening and she is just a little cutie. She has all of the usually labrador traits she is so loyal, lovable and wants nothing more than a cuddle. She is very underweight but with her love of food I don’t think this will take long to remedy!!!! She has bundles of puppy energy and then collapses on the floor for a snooze but she keeps an eye on what is going on at all times. She is mostly toilet trained we’ve had a few accidents at night. We had her off the lead tonight and her recall is quite good and I think Taylor and Casey will help her perfect this technic in no time. All in all she is settling into our little pack really well and I think she would make a wonderful addition to any family, like any labrador she would be best suited to an energetic family as she loves to play and be active before curling up at the end of the day.

She is an absolute stunner, love that picture on decking ![]()
Just a quick update, Juno is doing great, she is fitting in well with casey and taylor and as I type this herself and taylor are rolling around on the floor, she’s packing on the pounds and is looking great for it. A few photos…

This golden girl has met her forever family today, she can look forward to a new name, new home, new family and a new brother Toby to play with and show her the ropes.
We’re looking forward to bringing her home too! The kids are SO excited about the new arrival. The name choices have been reduced down to a list of 8 – final decision will be made when we meet her again.
Thanks to Jay for welcoming us this morning. She is certainly very happy in her foster home, I hope she’ll be equally happy here!
Well our lovely little girl got spayed today. She is doing really well put is still very tired and is enjoying chilling out on her bed in front of the fire. Taylor can’t understand why she isn’t willing to play but is giving her space although the cone could be the thing that is guaranteeing her space!!!! She’ll be well rested and recovered so she can be her usually bouncy self when she goes off to her new family ![]()
Glad to hear she’s over her op! A cosy bed in front of the fire sounds like a super place to be!
Juno came home this morning! She’s settling in really well so far + is having great fun with Toby & the kids. Unfortunately I think it’ll be a while before i post any pictures as, so far, she sees the appearance of the camera as an invite to jump into your lap!
Thanks again to Jay & Aoife for minding Juno for us!
Day 2 has gone just as well as Day 1! Juno’s been to the vet & is now free of the tyranny of the dead collar! Her day of intensive how_to_use_the_dog_flap lessons seems to be paying off & she’s now voluntarily venturing outdoors inspite of the horrible weather. She is getting on great with Toby & the rest of us & seems to be settling in well.

Thanks a million for the update – she looks like she has always been there
Having met this beautiful girl with her fantastic personality, it is great to see her so happy in her forever home:D
Delighted to see Juno has settled in so well!! I knew Toby would make a super big brother and I’m sure the kids will have taught her loads of new tricks in no time!!
What a fantastic photo in such a short time.
Totally relaxed with each other.
Really proves they need their own kind, Toby looks like a lovely boy and now happy he has a girlfriend.
Best of luck for a long and eventful life ![]()
Hi,
Today is Juno’s 2 week anniversary! She is getting on really well & seems like she had been here for a whole lot longer than fourteen days! Her ribs are finally begining to disappear (helped I’m sure by the extra treats we’ve discovered that Eimear had been feeding her!) so we’ve now entered more normal Lab territory of making sure she doesn’t get fat!. She still gets upset by shouting (a good excuse to stop!) but is completely unfazed by kids running mad & amazingly has been known to sleep through Nerf gun battles – I think that means she feels secure here!
We’ve all survived Juno’s first bath! She’s a lot easier to have around now that all the mud that she’s uncovered in the garden had been removed from her coat! She smells positively sweet these days! She’s also had all her final injections this week, so we plan to take her to the dog park tomorrow to work on her recall off-lead. Should be very exciting!
