At the moment maybe just text pals ha ha. Big step to take on the extra resposibility of another dog and not too sure how Chelsea would react to a newcomer on her "patch". Can’t believe how alike Joey is to Chelsea. There are a lot of Westie owners where I live but most of the males are just that bit bigger. When I figure out how to upload a photo to this thread (any hints on that one, I am not a techie) I will post a photo of Chelsea for you to see, though at the moment she is not on top form as she picked up kennel cough at the groomers 9 days ago and is now on anti-biotics. Please post some new pics of Joey.
Cheers.
Hi, we have Joey now for about 5 weeks and you are right when you say he looks small, as he certainly looks smaller than a 2 year old but his charm wins everybody over.

This little fellow is so gorgeous he should be an advertising model, you just want to pick him up and cuddle him. ![]()
I can’t believe you haven’t find a home yet Joey, you are a beaut.
And with more than 20 years with Westies I would know.
A Westie that is sociable and gets on with other dogs can be hard to find.
Good luck Joey I am sure you will find the perfect place very soon;
paws and fingers are crossed for you.
Has this lovely fella found a new family yet?
In response to your question we are completely baffled that Joey hasnt been snapped up as he is such a pet. He is asleep beside me now as I write and he is absolutely no bother. We have him since the first week in July and we are very attached to him now as he just fits in with all my gang. We love him to bits.

We fostered Joey for a couple of months and it broke our hearts to give him up as he was so lovely but now thanks to Beryl he is an absolute stunner. We still miss him a lot but we are delighted that he looks so well cared for and so happy. Another success story with Dogs in Distress!
They look fantastic are their Christmas haircut ![]()
Both look very settled with each other, they are very good sitting so well for the photo ![]()
WELL DONE BOYS.
