Picked up this little mite this morning to drop him to the vets and I will say I have never seen a dog in such a bad state, yet he is such a happy little fella, walked great on the lead to the car and travelled without a peep in the car. Even though I had my head out the window
. I would say once he has all his hair cut today he will be like a new dog and hopefully we will see his full potential as a happy little dog, I am sorry I could not take him into foster myself, but can’t at the moment. Can’t wait to see pictures of him with his hair cut, he thanked me nicely this morning by peeing all over my shoe!!!!!!!!
Hopefully he will find his forever home soon as he really seems to be a happy, friendly little fella.snow.JPG
Gave this little guy a lift this morning and I thought I’d picked up the wrong dog!!!! He looks gorgeous, he is snow white and has had a great hair cut – it really shows what a terrible state he was in ![]()
He’s a lovely friendly little dog and sat very happily in the car next to me, tail wagging the whole journey. Can’t wait to see pics of him he has to be seen to be believed ![]()
Joey arrived with us today and thanks to Suzanne for collecting him for us. He is an absolute dote and loves company as he is following me around the house all day. He is inquisitive and loves to explore his surroundings. He is very good in the car and on the lead. I think Joey will make some family a lovely pet as he has a great nature and just wants to be loved and part of the action. He is getting on great with my dogs but I think he would also be suitable as an only dog. We only have Joey a short while but I think he would certainly need company and doesnt seem to like being on his own.

Wow what a lovely dog from the matted little fella I transported to the vets, I was in the vets on Saturday with Chester and the nurse was telling me how fab he looked when he was leaving so it was great to see the pictures, such a happy little fella
Joey is a pure joy to have and we are battling not to get too attached to him but its a bit of a losing battle.

Just an update on the legend that is Joey.He is firmly running the house and making himself very much at home. He is walked every morning for about one hour and he has no problem keeping up with the lads. He sleeps every night without a peep and his little personality is shining through more and more every day.

Hi there. Met the volunteer collectors at Superquinn today so decided to look up this site. Then I saw Joey, the image of our Westie named Chelsea (yes we are all Blue footie supporters in this house)
. How is he getting on. Your descriptiion of him is so like our Westie. Hope Joey is doing well.
Joey is doing great…maybe he could be a pal for Chelsea ![]()
