This little girl is in foster with Micheal, who will update soon ![]()
Hi everyone,
Yesterday was her first night in and it went really well.
She got on very quickly with my two dogs (white German shepherd and Labrador), she’s very good at greeting other dogs and she’s very playful.
She was all over the place when I picked her up at the owner’s but after 30 mins walk, she was very calm and quiet in my house. She’s not a barker either.
She’s very young but she is house trained, no mess in the morning.
The walk was a surprise. I was expecting a handful but although she’s a pup and absolutely everything is interesting to her, she does not pull forward and she responds very well to commands, praises and discipline. A bit of lead training and she will be perfect.
I believe this girl would be the perfect addition to a household with children and especially as a second or third dog.
She is a mix of working dogs so she would need exercise and training (agility etc…) could be great for her. Not a lap dog by any means.
Oh and by the way, she is ridiculously cute!
I’ll put a few more pics as soon as possible and I’ll try to upload a video.
Close up!
Very cute indeed…

what a beaut! I wouldn’t say shell be waiting for her forever home for long, what a precious girl! ![]()
She looooves to play fetch by the way.
She is starting to walk really well on the lead, she really adjusts her pace to the walker, I am well impressed.
It’s the kind of dog you will be able to walk off leash very quickly because:
-She listens and comes back when called
-She is good with other dogs
-She loves people and kids
She is a very intelligent dog, so teaching her tricks would be easy.
I do believe she needs a home with kids or active people to play fetch and take her for walks. It shouldn’t be hard to find.
We love her but we don’t want to get attached (which is close to impossible) so i hope someone will contact kathy asap to give her a loving forever home!
Quick update:
This little girl was spayed on Friday. She was not too pleased about wearing the cone for a couple of days but she’s fine.
I’m having issues uploading pictures but I’ll try again to put some more shortly.
By the way, she had all her vaccinations done too.
Update on her profile:
She is 8 months old, she was born in May 2010.
If you’re looking for a dog that is energetic so you can walk and play with, if you’re looking for a family dog that seeks attention, then she’s the one for you. She is a great dog, she is very sweet and gentle, nothing but good things to say about her.
I had the pleasure of Jetta’s company for a couple of hours today and she really is a great little dog. She has BUNDLES of energy so would be great if anybody wants to kick start their fitness regime with loads of long walks!
She is fantastic with other dogs – she travelled up and down in the car with one of mine and spent a couple of hours getting up close and personal with my gang. She is a bit awkward with the cone on her head and nearly scopped Cody up with it a couple of times. Smart little thing that she is, she turned and gave Cody a lick as if to say sorry and continued on her merry way.
I road tested her with cats and that didn’t work out so well, although I did feel that she could get used to the idea if she had a bit more time. A smart cookie – she is doing great with the training Miguel is giving her.
A+.

I met jetta today and we had a lovely spin in the car from Wicklow and a short walk on the beach! This girl was super in the car just curled up and had a nap and she was a pleasure to walk too! Such a friendly little girl she was great meeting other dogs!! She was alot smaller than I expected and is a very gentle girl! She is about knee height and has a really soft coat!! She will make a super family pet! I fell for her after an hour whoever adopts this girl will be very lucky!!
Jetta came to stay with us yesterday thanks to Claire. She’s a bundle of love! Totally exuberant in a manageable sort of way. She is a wiggly friendly puppy and is having lots of fun with her squeaky toys and playing tug of war with Max. They get on great. We went to the park today and she played in the dog park with a husky and had lots of fun.
She doesnt seem to be a big digger in the garden which is good because we have enough craters as it is. If you leave the house she’s up at the window looking out and giving a little whine.
I put her bed, blanket and toys in the crate last night and put her in. She was a little resistant and whined for about 5 minutes and then there wasnt a peep out of her until the morning. She can probably sleep outside of a crate no problem but I didnt want the two dogs to get up to too much mischief in the kitchen because I had a lot of things on the counters.
She seems to be housetrained – no accidents in the house. She did come with a cat warning and we have a cat and we have had to separate them after the initial meeting which was a bit frantic. the cat was on the table and didnt give Jetta much of a chance before lashing out and then it all got a bit out of control. I will work with the two – I think in this case it was the cat more at fault than the puppy.
Jetta is a lovely looking puppy, long legged, not that large, certainly not as heavy as say a lab puppy of the same age. She will make a fun loving family pet. She’s light as a feather on the lead. I’ll get some photos up asap.
