Jamie is a great little dog – he has been a little nervous so he would probably be best suited to an adult home. He is excellent on the lead – his little legs go a mile a minute trotting along. He is very sociable -good with other dogs and people. Jamie is looking for his forever home or a short term foster home. If you think you can help Jamie please contact us.
Myself and Jamie had a walk this morning. He is fantastic on the lead. He walked around with a plastic bottle in his mouth for a lot of the walk. He seemed quite content, not a bit nervous. He was wagging his tail quite a bit. He did appear anxious when there were vistors arriving to the pound, like as if they could be his owners or potential ones. This made him want to go back, he was happy to go back in. Very nice fellow.
JAMIE IS ANOTHER LITTLE CHAP AWAITING HIS FOREVER HOME. JAMIE IS VERY GOOD ON THE LEAD – GOOD WITH OTHER DOGS AND PEOPLE – HIS LITTLE LEGS GO A MILE A MINUTE WHEN HE IS OUT WALKING WHICH HE LOVES TO DO. COULD ANYONE OFFER THIS CHAP A FOSTER HOME
Jamie is another great dog, he was soooooo nervous when he first came in, i’ll never forget it. He was terrified of everyone and everything. But he has made SUCH a transformation thanks to pound staff and is now a lovable little lad. And did i mention he is GORGEOUS???
Can anyone please help him and all the other dogs in at the moment? They are in sooooo much danger at the moment and desperatly need a lifeline.
If you can save a dog for christmas please contact gkd aka Gwen ASAP before it’s too late.
All they want for christmas is you………
I have walked this dog in the pound and seen his little determined face as he was walked by others. I think he is a lovely dog and would make a great companion for someone. I hope he finds a foster or a forever home as soon as it is safe to leave Ashton. I hope this little fellow is not forgotten about, he’s been around for a bit.
he reminds me of the scottish dog from lady and the tramp, adorable determined face!
Hi,
How is this dog getting on – he is a bit of a committee of a dog (as in he has a bit of everything going on) but I think he is really cute.
Any idea how whether or not he is housetrained (i know this is difficult to assess in the pound)
Thanks.
Jamie is still his forever home. He came for a walk with me today – a grand little chap – excellent on the lead – loves his walks – an all round great little dog.
Thanks for that update. I have just applied for fostering and if accepted and, if Jamie isnt rehomed before then I would like to him to be my first foster. I think there is just something about him. I dont plan on fostering before Christmas – but if he goes on a danger list (yes I know that all dogs on the urgent are in danger) let me know asap – animal helper has my details.
thanks.
Hi,
Just doing a quick check in – anyone showing any interest in Jamie – he really is pulling at my heart strings and Im just seeing the photos. Im begining to feel like Christmas is getting in the way as I want to foster this lad. Im away over the Christmas I cant get my hands on him until its over. He seems to be there a long time so please on mine and his behalf please mind him.
Someone please give him a big hug from me.
Happy Christmas to you all.

The lovely Jamie is still in, Ann had him out today and was showing him to a few people that came up to adopt but no-one was much interested in taking him home. ![]()
He is a dote of a dog, so sweet and happy, loves his food and gets on well with other dogs.
He’s in a long long time now and badly needs a lifeline.
Two Little girls had him out for a walk and he was delighted
His tail never stopped wagging ,but he hates going back into his cage ![]()
Im in Dublin until 28 or possibly 29th December. I can pick up and foster this lad then – does he have the luxury of another 8 or 9 days if not can anyone give it to him???
