MemberIzzy has nearly had her first full day with us and we are trying to pack as much as we can into the few days shes staying with us!
We made today a coastal day, she was very enthusiastic about everything! she loved climbing on the rocks, the water, meeting new people.
Izzy walks well on her lead, she sits on command, and while she does have the habit of jumping up to greet you (she is a puppy after all!) she has even lessened this.
Izzy is a bouncy girl and while we have found her to LOVE small children and be gentle when around them she would probably be abit too much to live with.
Izzy gets on well with our dog and wants to play 24/7! She was walking off her lead already today as she is very responsive to her name and loves to bound over for a cuddle when called.
She seems to be a bright girl with plenty of energy. She has an amazingly soft coat and is getting plenty of compliments already.

MemberIzzy had a slightly lazier day today…we had an early start with a big walk, Izzy was not impressed! While she was very excited to see everyone getting up she was actually quite tired and that led to a little protest on our walk and LOTS of interest from passing commuters!
We eventually made it and Izzy spent the rest of her day lazing, once in a quiet enough spot she is happy to chill out, she loves being around people and is interested in everything we are doing..she was extremely interested in how to empty the dishwasher and on the noises of the washing machine.
Izzy is a typical puppy she has energy to burn and then crashes out. She is getting less jumpy though and is showing us all her tricks. She has been trained in the past using hand signal, she knows sit, stay and how to give the paw. She hasn’t had any accidents since her first night..which we have decided didn’t really count! She walks well on her lead and is very responsive when off her lead.
We hope to get some photos tomorrow if we can get Izzy to slow down for long enough!

MemberKiko and Izzy are settling well. They still playfight all the time but it now looks more play than fight. They actually complement each other well: Kiko is more obedient while Izzy pushes it (she is still a pup after all). Izzy is very chilled while Kiko is wired. Kiko’s newest fascinations are shadows (now that we need to use artificial light most of the day) and bobsleigh races: he loves to watch and follow them and then looks confused when they disappear into a corner of the TV. Izzy just looks at him from the couch with a what’s the point look.
Kiko plays the big brother role quite nicely: if I give out to Izzy for misbehaving, he growls and nips at her. But if another dog barks at her, he will growl at him!The one thing they have in common is that they are both very affectionate and love a good cuddling session. And they are both so sweet. We are very happy to have them, thanks a million for getting them to us.
Here they are patiently waiting for the ball.
