Hamish celebrates his 1st Birthday today.
Happy Birthday Hamish.XX He got more toys and bones. Lucy has a grip on the new chicken (toy) and will not let it go.
He is in great form. He loves to play football with a big ball and draws a crowd down at the beach. Himself and Lucy are great pals, always playing and racing around. When he is going for a snooze he curls up near Charlie. He is so gentle and has a great personality. He has settled in so well, loves his walks and patrols the garden for birds.
He went through a chewing phrase but that seems to have stopped. He does copy the other dogs and now is a hoover chaser like Lucy.

Lovely update! Ah, hoover chaser…yes, that sounds very familiar! Lawnmower chaser too perhaps? Wrecker of any toy that squeaks (especially balls)?! Oh to have a Scottie (or two!) around the house! Mac and Bonnie said to tell Hamish to keep Lucy in check…and go get your chicken back man! Wise big brother Charlie will show him the ropes.Thanks Mac and Bonnie for the advice
Well Hamish had a very happy day today We were on a walkie when we met another beautiful little scottie and after we swapped details about our furry friends we thought they might be related as both celebrated their Birthday yesterday. I checked Hamish’s papers when I went home and yes they are brother and sister Molly (sister) lives nearby with her lovely family. We are going to stay in touch so Molly and Hamish can meet for play dates I am going to post up some pictures. The first 2 pictures are of the lovely molly and in the other two Hamish’s bum is facing the camera!! So will have to wait for next meeting to get a few more shots!! They seemed so happy to see each other. Does Molly share Hamish’s DIY and gardening enthusiasm per chance?? That’s lovely, you’ll definitely have to keep in touch! Love the photos. Mac and Bonnie met another Scottie recently on the way home in the car. We had to pull over and all run over to meet her! She was a Molly too as it happens but her birthday is August, like the troublesome twins. Yes Molly was into electrics herself and done some wonderful DIY work on wiring in the past She loves football and is a more petite version of young Hamish. There was eight pups in the litter so there could be a family reunion yet We’ll have to form a Scotties football team so! Bonnie is an excellent striker and Mac isn’t a bad winger. Any other Scottie takers…?
Hamish, so glad to see that you and Lucy have your priorities right – Sunday afternoons were made for relaxing…and why not do it in style!
