She’s very sociable and fantastic around kids and other dogs..Farrah needs a home with lots of social stimulation so a house that has kids would be great! She’s doing fab and she’s a little star

October 14, 2012 at 11:53 am #111635BoomdogMemberOur beautiful Farrah has found her Happy Ever After with Joan..We’re so thrilled as they seem to get on so well but we are also a little sad as it’s our first foster to hand over…We fell in love with this dark knight instantly and she will always have us but we know she’s going to a great home where she will be treated like a King (Or queen even)…Great work by DID another life saved!
October 14, 2012 at 11:51 pm #111813DID RescueKeymasterExcellent that she has at last find her forever family.
Yes its hard as a fosterer and even more so when its your first dog.
What is important is that as foster parents you can always look back and realise that you were a major part in saving a life.
That is something you will never forget and I have to say it’s a lovely feeling knowing you made a difference.
I just wish more people would do it.October 15, 2012 at 2:32 pm #111830ScarlettMemberI’m delighted she found her forever home, I hope you’re doing ok after letting her go, when we went to visit her, we really thought she’d end up staying with you guys, she was so attached to Boom!
BTW, I’m still telling everyone I meet about Boom’s tv habit! I’ve never seen anything like it!
We’re still on the look out for a brother or sister for Bram, hopefully he won’t be an only dog for much longer.

Thanks for your kind words Twist..Yes, we got a little sad for a day or so but when you then get a chance to foster another it makes it all worthwhile. I was tipping through the pasrk the other day with our current 2 and I thought that there’s no better feeling in the world than to see a little pooch transform after being saved from the pound- Yes, fostering does a lot for them but hthey have no idea how much they do for the us- def agree with this research that dogs are great for your mental health!
