Did you ever manage to chip all that mud off your paws Evan? How are your footie skills coming along? I am not a big football fan but would enjoy it if the game was played by dogs – that would be great . Wonder what position you would play ?
April 18, 2011 at 11:45 am #104739carlylongMemberAll the mud is gone thank god! with the nice weather the ground is dry so I dont get mucky any more
I have decided that the best home for me would have to have quite a large back garden, I am so used to having lots of space in my foster home, I love to have an open space to run around… I would also make a perfect farm dog as I love spending time with the birds (the feathery type ) & the horses.
My new favorite thing to do is snuggle…. my foster mam thought me how to do it… she picks me up and I snuggle in for a good cuddle…. I think I almost prefer snuggling to playing football…. ALMOST!
Its a long time since any new pix of me were uploaded… Im going to get the camera out tonite

Well, this can now be applied to dogs, but only very special dogs. For goodness sakes Evan, does your person not object to being used as a human sun lounger ? What a lucky dog you are, being so well cared for. I am not surprised that you are always laughing in your photographs. Great to see you
May 7, 2011 at 12:56 pm #104951IndiannaMemberEVAN – get back onto page one. Can’t have such a handsome boy as you on page two. You are the Brad Pitt of the dog world . How are you doing?
May 15, 2011 at 8:12 am #105058IndiannaMemberTime for an up-dated report card..I will put what I think but need your foster family to fill in the blanks.
Gorgeous (that goes without saying)
Dog friendly
People friendly (LOVES foster family, especially the other cuddle monster)
Child friendly
Likes to travel in a car
Understands the boundaries of livestock
Enjoys swimming, so would enjoy visiting the beach
Medium in size – what? 16 inches to the shoulder, that’s just what I think. Maybe about Beagle size, you are not as big as a Lab.
Enjoy outdoor ‘sports’ – flyball champion maybe?
I am sure your foster family could go on to complete this list if there was enough room. All in all you appear to be a cracking little dog, I think you are fantastic example of a ‘pet dog’. Please take your Gold Star Award.May 23, 2011 at 2:48 pm #105178IndiannaMemberI am stunned that there is no interest in this spectacular little dog . I look at him almost daily and hate to see him slipping down page one and onto page two again and again I know he will be perfectly happy where he is but there MUST be someone or a family out there wanting a great little (well OK, medium-sized dog) to add that extra sparkle to their life/lives Take a good look at him, read his blog carefully and if you find anything negative PLEASE let me know because I have looked and looked and find nothing but nice
May 24, 2011 at 10:57 am #105185carlylongMemberHi Everyone, sorry for the delay with an update, Evan has been waaaayyyyyyyyyy to busy enjoying life!
So lets have a look at his report card…
Gorgeous- A++++++
Dog friendly- A he would love either a home with a doggie or would be happy without- He is his own best friend!
People friendly- A+
Child friendly- I would give this maybe a B, I don’t have kids so no experience
Likes to travel in a car- A+
Understands the boundaries of livestock A+
Loves excercise- A+ – I think if Evan was a person he would win a gold in the 100metre sprint in the olypmics!
Size- I would say he is a small to medium dog, he is extremely light even though he eats plenty (wish I had that problemAll in all, a very VERY good report card!! lots of A PlUS’S!!!
I will take some photos this evening and upload them tomorrow.May 24, 2011 at 2:49 pm #105001IndiannaMemberI KNEW you would have a good report card. Well done Evan, lots of A+++s. I love hearing about you and am very much looking forward to seeing your next lot of photos. I have to admit – I think you are adorable but I am sure everyone knows that already.

You have a much fluffier (is there such a word?) coat than I thought and your lovely, curly, happy tail . Please say a HUGE thank you to your foster family for managing to get so many great images of you in your garden, with your ball and your (is it) foster sister . I am not surprised you are always laughing in your photos, you are being very well cared for – 5 star treatment in 5 star accommodation I suspect. I continue to follow your progress with great joy and ?????????? well, say no more : Thank you again foster family.
June 1, 2011 at 9:11 am #105291IndiannaMemberOh goodness, RESERVED! I am happy in one sense but currently have a heavy heart . Whoever is getting lined up to take this great little dog on – you are very, very lucky indeed . I am not in a position to offer Evan everything he needs or more importantly, SHOULD HAVE. That is what makes my heart heavy . Please, who ever you are, please, please, please stay in touch with this site so we (OK me ) can continue to follow this little chap’s journey .
