Walks very well on the lead and great in the car ![]()
We introduced Evan briefly to our horses, he barked at first as he was afraid but didn’t pay much notice after a few mins. We then introduced him to our Hens & Ducks… he seemed overly interested but after a few minutes of holding him and saying no he seems to pretty much ignore them… I will be keeping a close eye on him for the next few days though!! A chicken dinner might be too much to resist for him!!!
He has the most amazing eyes I have ever seen, big, SO SO shiny, round, chocolate malteaser eyes is the only way I can describe them! He slept soundly in the hall with Bonnie last night, Didnt budge until I got up this morning. I cant wait to get home from work this evening to spend more time with him and see more of his personality. I will take photos this evening and post them tomorrow.
Hello
Some pix of Evan below, Sorry there not great but he wont sit still long enough for me to get a good one! He is such a lovely fella, just look at those eyes!!!, a real softie, follows me around everywhere!!

We learned lots of new stuff about Evan at the weekend
We learned he is a BRILLIANT swimmer and absolutely loves water! We literally could not keep him out if it. I was worried about him getting cold but he was flying around the place the whole time so he was grand.
We also learned he LOVES to chase birds (not the human type
). He hasn’t gotten over the hens yet and is still eying them up suspiciously… He chased one yesterday and i had to give out to him, well the look on his face when I gave out to him nearly broke my heart! he nearly had me in tears! I could only stay mad at him for about 5 seconds and that was it!
I will post some more pix tomorrow evening ![]()
Hi There,
Sorry about the lack of updates I was on a weeks hols and my laptop connection from home is WAAAAAAYYYYYY to slow
Evan is getting on great, he is really beginning to trust us now and is really coming out of his shell. He is such a sweet soft boy. We got 2 pot belly piglets last week- Elvis and Priscilla. Evan now completely ignores the chickens and is Obsessed with the piglets and i mean OBSESSED. He will literally sit there for an hour staring at them! I wonder is he thinking… hhmmm they will taste like rashers if i eat them
His new favorite place in the house is lying beside me on the couch which Bonnie (our gsd) is not too happy about!!! Will post some more pix during the week.
Hello There,
I took some picture of Evan last night with his new BFF (Best friend forever for those who didnt know
!!)
He really is the sweetest little fella! he is so gentle and oh so very clever. Its very funny to watch him creeping on to the couch… one paw goes up, then the other…. then he kinda shimmys his body further & further onto the couch until the back legs come up one at a time!

Well I am absolutely loving it… strutting my stuff like theres no tomorrow!
We have been doing lots of training for when I go to my new home. I walk on the lead very well now, I sit on command, I heel to perfection & if I am let loose for a little run around, Once I hear my name being called I am straight back to my foster mam within seconds to check all is ok! My foster mam says I have the best re-call she has ever seen!! I also like to follow my foster mam around the place, just to make sure she is ok, she calls me her little buddy boy and I love that, makes me feel very special!
Now all I have to do is find the right family! I dont mean to blow my own trumpet or anything but who ever gets me is going to get one hell of an amazing companion!
This special little man is waiting for his forever family who will have the time and patience that he will need to settle in to his new home:D ![]()

Evan, are you trying to reverse onto that seat, get off the seat or are you so sleepy that you are just resting your rear end while your front end snoozes? Whatever you are up to it made me smile
Thank you for that smile Evan:D
I think he was resting his rear after all his football training ![]()
more pix on the way ![]()

I LOVE your muddy paw boots and you look a lot smaller than I thought you were. I know you are not big but maybe your ‘boots’ make you legs look a bit shorter. What a cracking little chap you are ![]()
Looks can be deceiving
I would describe myself as meduim in height but I am quite light & slim… i like to keep myself in shape by playing football, chasing birds (not the female type) & following my mam around the place
Please excuse my dirty paws
Im surprised my mam even let me into the house lookin like that!!!
I might look like im asleep but if you look at the photos closely you will see I have my ear wide open.. listening to everything thats going on!!!
Did you tip toe passed your mother on those muddy paws? I agree, you look like you are sleeping but talk about ‘keep your ears open’ I bet you don’t miss a trick. I see what your mother means about your beautiful soft eyes – gorgeous ![]()
Did you ever manage to chip all that mud off your paws Evan? How are your footie skills coming along? I am not a big football fan but would enjoy it if the game was played by dogs – that would be great
. Wonder what position you would play
?
