Well the dinky duo were vaxed and chipped today and they were SO BRAVE!! We have had howls from some of our other fosters but barely a squeak out of Errol. He feels so grown up with his new collar and microchip tag (courtesy of Kathy and Kim).
Well my little man, Errol is still with us. He is a gas little character who has won the hearts of everyone here. He is full of mischief but SO lovable. He loves to cuddle up on any available lap or with sister Erin in one of the beds. He loves to play with Casper who is about 20 times the size of him but another big baby so they are well-matched! Almost impossible to catch Errol still for long enough to photograph but here are the latest offerings. This man will make a great pet for some lucky family!
CAM_0256.JPGWell Errol left WITH Erin for his new life today!! I couldn’t be happier for the pair of them. Separating them now would have been cruel. Elizabeth and Morgan are so lovely and happy to home the 2 babies together. I couldn’t have wished for a happier ever after for them. Be happy, my little babies!!
Aw thats great news , be happy little babies and hope your new family will keep us updated as you get older
Errol and Erin’s new forever mum has been on to say they cannot believe how adorable these little guys are we are so lucky and completely smitten. Erin and Errol are settling in well.
They slept so soundly last night that at 5 am I had to have a little peep in on them and they were fast asleep and had used the paper during the night. I took some pics last night which I’ve attached and this morning. Erin seems so much quieter than Errol but she is the boss as I have been watching them all day and she is the leader of their little pack!
They are currently chewing on their little chew bones ready to snooze. Re toilet training in the kitchen they are so well behaved but the sitting room is a different story they are peeing everywhere but the paper!! but I’m sure it will not be long before we have them as good in the sitting room as they are in the kitchen.Erin is now Tibi and Errol well we have yet to find the perfect name for this little rascal we had thought Toby but he is such a rascal that Toby just is not right. I will be adding some pics to the happy endings section later today. Their foster family were so welcoming and are a lovely family Erin and Errol were spoilt rotten by them all.
Thank you and DID so much for giving us our newest family members we adore them. Casper our cat has not come around yet but we are working on it and hopefully we will be able to have them all together in the same room soon. I will keep updating DID on these wonderful rascals.
10112010240.jpg10112010271.jpgJust an update on the dynamic duo. Errol is now Rocky! Both Tibi and Rocky had their first visit to our vets yesterday. They both got their second vaccinations, nails clipped and weighed. Tibi is now nearly 1/2 kg heavier than Rocky!! She was a sweetheart with the vet giving her lots of kisses despite the needle. Rocky was a bit more vocal in his dislike he did not appreciate his nails being clipped!! but soon was giving her lots of kisses!! They had their first big walk this morning by the river we had great fun!! They are currently snuggled up on their bed snoozing happily. I will be adding some super cute snaps on the website tomorrow. Once again thank you and all the amazing DID volunteers for giving us our little rascals we adore them.
Good to see this little guy doing so well , him and his sister are so attached and it was great to see them homed together

Just a short up-date on the dynamic duo that are Rocky and Tibi. Its only been a month yet we cannot imagine life without these little rascals! Rocky is so active and loves to snoop everywhere he is so cute he does not walk he struts!! and loves to try and boss the big dogs about his nip them from behind and run routine is so funny to watch.We’d like to wish everyone at DID a very happy Xmas and a prosperous new year and to thank them for the best gift ever.
A special thanks to Audrey, Angela and her lovely daughter Niamh who came with their fab dogs Oscar and Max for a home visit and the amazing Colgan family who where so welcoming and are fab fosterers a big hello to the four-legged members of their family who were super friendly.

They were a joy to foster and I imagine you will have many hilarious, fun-filled years with them. Thanks so much for the update and keep ’em coming, please!!! From one movie star name to another….Rocky I hope you your sister and your new mum and dad have the best christmas ever….although I think it came early for you all this year the day you were adopted.

Just a quick update on the rascal formerly known as Errol that is Rocky!! He is a little over 6 months old and we’ve been in his service now for over 3 1/2 months! He is a little superstar Tibi is still the pack leader but Rocky is head guard dog. He snoozes by the door way of any room he is in and whilst Tibi is happy to cuddle up 24/7 Rocky is always on patrol!! He is full of energy and loves his walkies he has such a delightful character. Relations with our cat Casper have finally thawed Rocky is fascinated by him and follows where ever he goes!
