Decota and sister Domino have been in foster care for the last 2 weeks. They were a little under the weather when they arrived but are now back to full health and available for adoption.
Having lessons in the art of tug of war!
April 20, 2009 at 8:06 pm #84287CathyMemberDecota. named by my daughter Erica, is defnitely the braver out of these two babies… always first out of her crate in the morning and always finding new things to explore… she is very clever and will already sit for a treat … her favourite game so far is tugga and loves playing it with my girl Missy (her stepmammy!!)… believe me she is not defeated easily!!! She and her sister like their crate but honestly their favourite place to sleep is cuddled up with Pal… He has a lot more patience than Missy so between they are teaching these puppies some basic doggie do’s and don’ts!!! Decota is a very loving little puppy and I would think be a very loyal companion when she finds her forever family
May 7, 2009 at 4:23 pm #82930Els81MemberHi Cathy,
How is Decota? How old is she now? Around 16 weeks?
She seems to be very lovely & lively puppyMay 8, 2009 at 3:56 pm #84769CathyMemberDecota is a lovely little girl… she was a bit sad when her sister Domino went to her forever home but then Dexter came along.. now he and she are the best of friends…
Decota is a gentle little girl who is always happy to see you.. she is quite like Pal except she is brown but the markings and temperment are similar and although she loves playing with Dex when it comes to bedtime she and Pal always seem to be snuggled up together!! She and Dexter are about the same age and she is a good bit smaller so I don’t think she’ll be very big when fully grown. She does like company however and I think would be happy in a home where someone was home for a good part of the day!
We’re just about to go on our first walk with her so we’re very excited and will give you an update after hopefully with some photos!!!! Fingers crossed the rain holds off!!!May 15, 2009 at 8:43 am #84940Els81MemberHi All,
Decota is doing just fine. She was a bit nervous yesterday in the car, but that’s understandable. We had a small accidend during the night although we walked her yesterday before bed time – but without any sucess. We’ll work on that Right now she’s sleeping beside me on the couch. Few photos below.
Thanks a mil Liz, Suzie and Cathy !!!May 27, 2009 at 10:35 am #85305Els81MemberSo Decota is now with us almost 2 weeks now, and we’re so happy that she’s here. I think that she’s happy too. We’re making progress on ‘sit’, ‘down’ and ‘stay’ She’s very very smart, sometimes i wonder that maybe she’s smarter than we are She loves our morning walks on the beach where she can meet and play with other dogs (few photos below) and her naps.
Cheers,
Paulina

Our lovely girl shows that she knows what ‘sit’ means

Very friendly with other dogs
[/url:1tghg9s2″>
She loves chasing seagulls and other birds, so we have to be very careful.
[/url:1tghg9s2″>
After whole day she’s very tired
[/url:1tghg9s2″>And here just one video. We were worried that when it was so worm she may be to hot, so we bought paddling pool for her.

She loves her cliff walks
[/url:q7h0zze3″>And today she was on her first boat trip
[/url:q7h0zze3″>Today we had to go to the vet, because she has some kind of eye infection and like always she was very very good. Couldn’t wish for a better puppy.
