Little Darby is lovely,she is a tiny little pup about 7-8 wks old.she is a confident little pup who loves everyone,especially kids.she gets on well with my dog and had a great time flying around the garden with him.I had to block under my shed as she tries to get into the smallest places,she got stuck in my fence twice as she thinks she can fit her whole body through it
she wasnt interested in her puppy food so I gave her some mashed potato and she loved that.Her poor tail just hangs as if she has no nerves in it So either she was born like that or someone tied a band to the top of her tail to stop the blood supply Little Miss Darby is a fusspot !! I have tried to get her to eat her food today and she ate a bit then left the rest,I added tinned food and potato and she still wasnt mad about it.I eventually boiled up mince and she loved it,she licked her bowl clean for the first time.She has gotten used to her crate now and goes in and out of it herself,when I left her last night she cried for about 10 mins then got the message when noone came down to her.We all keep tripping up over her as she is so small,so far I have nearly caught her paw in the dishwasher and her head in the door
.She got wormed today so she should put on some weight as she is very thin and as light as a feather. Darbys tail is now better
She now has a lovely long waggy tail.I thought it would have had to be amputated but thank god she is able to wag it now,and move it around.She is brilliant for 8 weeks for going out to the toilet,I have newspaper at the door which she uses if I am not quick enough to let her out.She hasnt had any accidents in her crate and waits till 7.30 to be let out to the garden.She loves to be chased by either mad kids or my dog.Her fav toy at the moment is a toy puppy which is bigger than her I have my dog kennels up on pallets and she manages to squeeze herself right underneath Id say she is only going to be a small little dog when she grows as she is so petite with tiny paws. Am doig homecheck tomorrow for a woman who might be interested in this little one. I want her myself!! Will tell the lasy tomorrow to have a look at her.
