You and me both, Lorraine!!! I have to say, however, that the "failed fosterers club" is DEFINITELY the place to be. Try not to "fail" as often as us, though!!! Congrats, Daisy. A long and happy life to you and your lucky new family.
February 9, 2012 at 12:07 pm #108357FionakzMemberThanks for the good wishes – I think I was the only one who didnt see it coming!! I feel like such a BAD fosterer but I fell in love with Daisy, we all have (with the exception of Rocky, were still working on that one!!).
No doubt Ill be on the boards again, we fully intend to foster again once things settled and I can ASSURE you we wont be keeping a 3rd dog!!!Fiona

Darcy and Daisie.jpgMay 3, 2012 at 5:20 pm #109597FionakzMemberAwww, look at the pic of Daisy and Darcy, thanks so much for putting it up, its lovely!
Daisy had her operation yesterday so she is sporting a fancy new lampshade at the moment, I will take some pics once it comes off and post them up on the site.
In the meanwhile I cant say enough about this gorgeous little girl, she really is fantastic. Shes grown a lot but I suspect she may be the smallest of the litter, she’s certainly the smallest of the three we know, maybe some day we’ll get to meet her other siblings????
We did the puppy manners course with the DSPCA and it really set us on the right road with her training. Steve has spent a lot of time training her and she is so responsive – mainly because she is so greedy and will do anything for a treat! Her recall is 100%, she knows all the basic commands (sit, paw, even ‘go to bed’!!), the only area we still need to work on a bit is the pulling on the lead – but hey, she’s still a pup, and practically perfect!!!!!
Thankyou once again DID for helping us find the best dog EVER!!!!!
