hi tom i’m so glad you took her into your home, she is going 2 have a great life by the sounds of it, and i heard you kept the name i chose, it suits her down to the ground doesn’t it!
Giving her to DID was the hardest thing i’ve ever done, i loved her so much, but it was the best thing i could have done because i know she will get the best quality of life now with all that open space :-)
Please post pics of her when she gets older, i would love to see how big she gets!
give seba lots of hugs and kisses from me!
    stephanie :-)

    Hey Stephanie,

Nobody told me your name. Thanks so much again for what you did. It must have been very hard to let her go. Ya she has loads of space and all to run and play. There is a lake in a woods near where i live. We brought her up there 2 separate days and she is growing in confidence with the water all the time. I’d say she will grow to love the water. She is just splashing around and paddling at the moment, but is getting braver all the time. Ya ill definately post some pics when i finally figure out how to do it  . We only have her 6 days, but i think she has gotten bigger already. She really does love her comfort too. She loves lying up on the couch stretching out like lady muck :P . She has such a lovely nature so placid and gentle. Ok ill definately keep you updated and I’ll get some photos up too.

    Thanks again

    Tom

Aw Coco is gorgeous, I am intrigued, I did two home visits on the same day in the same part of the country. Both were fab homes and both dogs who are very different ended up being called Coco.
Is it something in the air down there?
Delighted to see updates of this beauty.

Thats so funny. Well my girlfriend actually named her obviously after Coco Chanel. She doesn’t have a lot in common with posh perfume I dont think though. Shes not very lady like at all. Shes a little toughy always up to mischief, but in a good way, the little rascal

    Hey everyone

sorry im so long getting back to ye all with updates of coco. she is coming up to a year old next month, and although its been challenging at times we kept the faith with her training and im glad to report she is flying it now. she has turned into a right little gem and we cant imagine our lives without her now. in her first year she has met thousands of dogs, all different kinds of animals, and humans. i think this along with a relentless exercise regime has made her a very well balanced and social little dog. well little would be the wrong way of putting it :P she has turned in to a ball of muscle. i was having trouble with her chasing poor joggers at one point, but i have managed to redirect her obsession on to birds now which is very entertaining to watch. she has no regard for her own body when she has her eye on a bird. she has never caught one but she never stops trying :P . here are some photos of her nearly all grown up well hopefully :P . thanks to everyone in did again. the work you do is so worthwhile. it would be such a waste to see a dog like coco ending up being badly treated or worse put down. i will try to update you all again in another couple.

    thanks again

She is gorgeous, I love the wrinkles in her forehead and the soft looking mouth .

ha ha ya the wrinkles on the forehead are great they really give her expression. You should see her when she is really concentrating on something like a treat in your hand, she looks as if she’s thinking come on you idiot just hand it over

She really is great fun too full of character. Out on our walks she gets great sport out of chasing birds. If she sees one on the ground she will creep up on it and then chase it until it lands on a tree, then she starts barking at it until its frightened away, she only takes on small birds though.

She is a total coward when it comes to swans or big crows. She wont go near them. She loves horses and cows and she always licks them on the nose when she meets them.
It’s funny she was afraid of her life of cows at the start, but she never minded horses, they must smell different or something :D .

    OK Bye for now

    Wow she has really grown.
Tom you are obviously looking after her well, she is a credit to you.
I think there may be a small link to Coco Chanel………….look at those deep dark smoldering eyes…….very attractive ;)
Delighted to hear that you are all enjoying each other. :)

    Ah thanks very much :)
Well I have to say she is my pride and joy I am very proud of her. I suppose you cant really get mad with her when she bites the skirting board to bits in the kitchen overnight when she looks at you with those lovely eyes.

I think she knows she looks good too. She has this proud little trot on her and she holds her tail up high when she walks around, full of herself she is

Tom have you tried giving her a stuffed Kong last thing at night when you are going to bed.
She is missing you so you need to address this sooner rather than later.
She needs to understand its bed time and that you will still be there in the morning.
If you have an old T shirt or something with your scent on it for her to have in her bed is also a good idea, it’s just a comfort and reassurance thing.
If you give her the Kong she will associate bed time with something pleasant and a treat instead of feeling you have all vanished and she is worrying and taking it out on the skirting boards.

This can be fixed, even though you say you don’t mind, for her it would be best to stop her anxiety.
Let me know if you need any help.
Delighted to see she is so loved and enjoyed :)
