Meet Chloe, who unfortunately came into our care as a cruelty case. These are pictures of Chloe when she first went into fostercare. She had two horrible wounds to the back of her neck which were badly infected and required immediate veterinary attention. Her wounds were cleaned and stiched up and Chloe is expected to make a full recovery from her ordeal. She was only 20kgs, you could feel her spine and hip bones under all the matts in her coat.
Despite everything she has been through, she is the most friendliest, loving dog you could ever meet given she was in so much pain. She has started putting on weight and will have her stiches out soon. Chloe is great with other dogs and loves children (although 12+ might be better as she can be quite jumpy). Chloe has been spayed and will be vaccinated, wormed and microchipped before going to her forever home. She will also be groomed. Chloe is 2 years old. If you feel you can offer this girl a special loving home, please complete an Adoption Application under ‘Forms and Downloads’.

June 6, 2009 at 11:56 pm #101224DID RescueKeymasterThis is one fantastic dog, loving good with everyone and I feel she has been overlooked due to her injury but this has not stopped her as most dogs they move on much quicker than people. I wish I was so forgiving.
She is a fantastic dog and thanks to her major grooming session making her look like the Disney dog she should be, she now deserves the best home possible as she has so much to give.September 9, 2010 at 4:45 pm #101228kaydoyleMemberShe is approx. 2 yrs old, vaccinated, microchipped and neutered.

Hope she gets sorted soon.
September 11, 2010 at 12:13 am #101231DID RescueKeymasterYes Ash you are right she is the same girl. Beautiful looking girl who has a real sad story behind her but at least she is back in our care again.
As always we always take back one of our own unlike most rescues nowadays which is very sad for a lot of dogs out there where circumstances or something else has changed and they are no longer wanted or loved.September 16, 2010 at 8:27 pm #101257kaydoyleMemberThis little girl is doing great

Looking at Chloes eye I would swear it was her all over again. Unfortunatly our dog had to be put to sleep this year due to old age and health problems. She had given us 10 years of fun and love and I hope Chloe can do the same for someone she deserves to be made part of a family and feel loved. Best of luck Chloe will be sending all our well wishes your way. XXXOctober 1, 2010 at 1:52 pm #101133kaydoyleMemberMore pictures of this beauty

October 13, 2010 at 10:47 am #101772TobysMumMemberOh, I am so pleased to hear this great news. I was just thinking of Chloe yesterday and wondering what had happened to her – I had been showing someone the calendar and came across this lovely ‘September’ beauty. It’s wonderful that she doesn’t have to move on to another home and will be staying with you Collette. Please give Chloe a big kiss and cuddle from me. I wish her a very happy ever after. x
