We collected Buster this afternoon, he is a large Yorkie and of course is nervous at the moment. Buttons is following him around and they have played a bit. They are both in and out of the house and seems to be getting on well thought he is overwhelmed by it all. He’s had an accident but that is to be expected. He travelled well in the car but he is not used to it and moved around a lot, Milly sat with him to keep an eye on him. The person who handed him over for adoption said he barked a lot. He has barked a bit out the back in reply to a neighbourhood dog but we will see how the first night goes. He’s very friendly and has washed my ears a few times already!

Busters first night was uneventful, he only barked twice. He was at the Vet for his chip and shots and was really good. He loves a bit of attention but also likes his own space from Buttons and us and will go sit on a chair by himself. He seems to enjoy being outside and is happy to go in and out. He’s gentle when taking treats and is enjoying his food. He is quite nervous and sudden noise and movements startle him. He is also nervous in the car and can’t wait to get out of it, that will change with time as Buttons was the same and now can’t wait to get in to it!

Another uneventful night, no barking and delighted to say hello in the morning, wagging his tail like there is no tomorrow. He is very affectionate and such a cute face.

Isn’t he just gorgeous, what a little darling, I just loved the ‘snoozed out’ pic of him lying across the chair. Let’s hope he finds his new family soon. :)

Interested. What’s he like on the lead? And with other dogs? Suitable for a home with kids?

Buster is quite good on the lead. He pulls a bit but after settling into the walk he was good. He has gone to a new foster due to unforseen personal circumstances and the new fosterer has children and will be able to report on what he is like around them. He got on great with our dog but when she got too bossy he took himself off outside or to another chair! We went to a doggy park too, he was a bit nervous but there was no drama with the other dogs there.

Have temporary custody of Buster while his foster parent is away. Verrry sweet pup! Follows me everywhere, & just loves to curl up in a corner somewhere watching my every move. Is super affectionate! Gets along well with other dogs, though with my own dog there were some minor jealousy issues on both sides during first couple of days. They seem to have worked these out though, & have had some great playing sessions in the back garden. They sleep together downstairs & not a peep out of them. My own dog is a lab cross & twice as big as him. Buster enjoys his walks. Will pull on lead at first, but then settles nicely. Also loves to pop in & out of the garden. No accidents during night, seems house-trained. Would make a lovely pet for someone that is home a lot & would like the company. Or with a family where there is plenty of action, & people to give him attention. Buster loves to be around people! Easy pup to please, & very anxious to please the adults in his life.
