Hi all, I just registered but myself and my boyfriend are visiting this webside very often as we both love dogs. Frind of mine recommended dogs in distress quite a bit ago as she’s fostering for them sometimes. We absolutely adore Bruce and would like to reserve him if possible. How should we go about adopting him?

September 30, 2009 at 7:47 pm #88360sineadhhMemberJust wanted to write a little update on Bruce! He is doing great and getting bigger by the day! Still absolutely loves the water and jumps into it every chance he gets! He is such a sweetheart and we are absolutely delighted that he is here with us! Thanks to all at DID! He has already been on a few holidays in our Camper Van and loves going on adventures with us. Every time the van door open he jumps up into it and positions himself by the window, ready to watch the world go by! Thanks again guys and thanks for a great day on Sunday!

Just a little update on our boy Bruce!
He is super friendly as ever! And absolutely loves the company of his foster brothers and sisters when they come to visit. He thinks he is a little lap dog and loves being close to you! (like sitting/lying on you!) He is the most cuddly dog ever and never tires of affection! He is great with kids, adults, dogs and cats and plays accordingly! (being extremely gentle with delicate things like kids and kittens)
He had a great Christmas, Santa was very good to him and he loved running around in the snow on New Year’s Day! He loves eating it!! He is in his element with this weather!
All in all he is a very happy guy and we couldn’t imagine our lives without him! He comes everywhere with us and we’ve have even been allowed sneak him (with permission) into cafes! (He is such a charmer!!)
His foster sister Angel, who has gone off to her Forever home!
They loved singing together! [/url:20wtg0os”>January 6, 2010 at 10:52 am #92348jenbearMemberHe is GORGOUS and looks so happy!!
August 21, 2010 at 9:08 pm #99642sineadhhMemberWe officially adopted our boy Bruce one year ago today! He has grown so much since he has been with us! We have done alot in the last year and Bruce has been there to share every moment! He still comes everywhere with us and joins in in all the fun! Loves going on his camping holidays, absolutely LOVES the water and even enjoys the occasional surf! He also loves it when foster brothers and sisters come to stay with us!
He is very well behaved, he can sit, lie down give the paw, he can do tricks like ‘turn’ and take off socks with his mouth and even open the kitchen presses by pulling on ropes! A clever boy! He even helped himself to treats from his treat cupboard, silly me for leaving the rope tied to the door, but clever him!
He won most handsome male dog at the pet expo and is admired everywhere we go!
We LOVE HIM TO BITS and are delighted that he chose us to be his forever home!

Its hard to believe it a year since Gina and Dave phoned me one morning to say they had found him.
I sent them an email to tell them about his video. The cat is fantastic he/she must think they are a dog, the photo of the cat kissing the face of the Setter pup……..its magic.
I did not know that we had a singer in our midst. That one of them both singing deserves to be in a caption competition.
Make sure you bring him to the fun day as I would love to see him now all grown up.Well done Bruce you got your paws firmly planted in the camper van just making sure they dont go without you.
You have grown into a very handsom boy and still as lovable and sweet as ever.
Whoever lost you and did not look for you missed out on so much but I think you are much better off where you are……..singing, mud baths, camper outings, puppy entertainer, cat trainer and two parents who love you lots.
See you soon surf dudeAugust 22, 2010 at 2:36 pm #99151LuvMyFurKidsMemberBruce The Almighty…..as it looks like you are God in your house!
