She looks so like her brother now known as Morgan .. my sister & her family adopted him gorgeous
September 28, 2010 at 9:19 pm #101542bmcc38MemberThey must all look alike so….We had to go to a wedding overnight recently and I had no choice but to kennel her. The minute we got there and they saw her the girl said to me she was sure her sister was staying as well coz she was so like one of the dogs already there. When we came back to get her the next day it turned out it HAD been her sister who is now called Mollie and the lady who had her remembered Lotties details from the web site!!! Small world!!! Observant staff at ‘Best kennels’!!!!
September 28, 2010 at 11:50 pm #101544sweepMemberIt really is a small world I couldn’t believe it when they said her sister was there . The girl said they are very alike.
Molly stayed for a few days and got on great. Molly was neutered last Tuesday and she was so good not a bother on her back to herself the next day running after our cat. She is so funny will do an update soon . good luck on ThursdayOctober 2, 2010 at 1:07 pm #100628bmcc38MemberLottie was neutered on Thursday and all went well. She seems to be recovering fine and the stitches don’t seem to be bothering her too much. She hates the cone but hopefully in a few days we will be able to take it off. Job done….

She has made a few new friends as everyone has been walking their dogs locally instead of using one of the many beaches or parks due to road conditions and has been having a great time with some labradors on the estate green in the mornings. She got some ‘crazy critters’ for x-mas as seen on tv and is really enjoying them. We were concerned she would woof at Santa and give him a fright but she was as good as gold! Happy New Year to everyone especially any of Lotties litter mates and thanks to Eddie, Mary and family for the card.

DSC01998.JPGFebruary 10, 2011 at 1:09 pm #91144bmcc38MemberHi all. Hope everyone had a great Christmas and New Year. Well in the last while we have adopted a friend for Lottie. She is just the kind of dog that needed a friend….she is a very dog focused dog… and our new addition Toby is a great match for her. She LOVES him and both are having a great time playing together. We happened upon Toby through a great friend and he is a BRILLIANT little dog. Lottie is really enjoying his company and he has brought great happiness and balance to her life. Who would have thought that 2 dogs were actually easier than one!!!! Two is the limit though…ha ha! Here are some photos of them together!

February 10, 2011 at 5:32 pm #103602bmcc38MemberThey really are..I had steeled myself for a hard slog to get them properly adjusted to each other but it went so smoothly. I was very surprised coz they are almost exactly the same age. I am still waiting for a down side to appear….only slight negative is the extra poo
February 10, 2011 at 10:58 pm #89240DID RescueKeymasterTwo is always easier than one
It makes sense that they need their own kind, no different to humans.
It also takes the pressure off humans for constant entertainment, now you can enjoy more and when you have other things to do you don’t need to feel guilty as she has her own friend.
Great news and the best of luck.
Don’t be waiting for the downside as there really isn’t one I promise.February 11, 2011 at 12:56 pm #82664bmcc38MemberI think your right..poo apart it’s all good. Best thing that ever happened.
DSC02151.JPGApril 17, 2011 at 11:46 pm #104732RobbiewMemberSo Nice to see Brooke all grown up, So cute and so like her mother. Thank fully her Mum is back to Normal. As you know when we fostered her Mum she was 10months old and already pregnant (We didn’t know at the time) we decided to keep her and a month and a half later we found out she was pregnant. All of this was too much for Noah and even after the pups were born her hormones were all over the place. Recently in the last 5 Months she has changed dramatically, she is like a puppy again and we couldn’t be more in love with her. Thought you might like to see some pics of Brooke when she was only a few weeks old. This pic was maybe when she was about 3 weeks but Im not sure. Brooke on the right and Molly on the left

photo-1.jpegMay 25, 2011 at 9:28 am #105108bmcc38MemberAhhhhhh Robbie,
I had not checked in in a while and was delighted to hear Noah was doing so well and the picture of Lottie as a pup is fab. The kids are all excited to see her so small. She is doing so well and is really enjoying life with Toby. They are the terrible twosome!!! She is just over the year old now and is starting to really settle down. She loves the beach especially and has a thing for rabbits too. Their white tails disappearing in the distance are too exciting to take. Here are a few recent photos.
