Lovely Bonnie came into the pound in the summer of last year. We all knew that she was a special character and Suzi fell for her immediately! After being in foster care, she was re-homed to a perfect family and is now in charge of a farm in Wicklow, where she’s best friends with Matt the dalmation and various donkeys! Here is an update from her family:
"She came with the name Bonnie but we already have a donkey with a similar name so, seeing she didn’t answer to it anyway, we decided to call her Molly. She is, after all, extremely hairy!
At the time we still had our elderly Collie and we needed another dog to keep our Dalmatian company as we knew our much-loved Collie would not be with us for much longer.
Molly settled in very well and our Dalmatian, Matt, thought all his Christmases had come at once. He adores her and they have great fun together.
As we breed horses we particularly needed a non-herding breed and Molly fits the bill perfectly. She is interested in the horses and not afraid of them, but has no desire to chases them.
Attached is a picture of them looking over the half door and wondering where their breakfast is!"
awww look at Bonnie. I fostered her for about a week. She was really fantastic. Thank you so much on the update on her. She looks really well. She really is a fantastic, energetic but a very loving dog.. We adored having her. Although she did manage to get all her spay stitches out. She is so playful and so sociable with other dogs.. Bonnie aka Molly which is a gorgeous name for her, really is gorgeous.. delighted to hear news on her..
