MemberHi folks,
It looks like I may have found a good home for Bianca so no need for a foster, off up to the pound tomorrow to hopefully get the adoption papers signed.
Cheers

MemberHey Maura,
That is brilliant news…the home I had found for her fell through literally last minute.
Was phoning the pund yesterday to check on her progress.
How is she?
Do you have her?

MemberWell poor Bianca is not too bad at all. Mind you she does look like a scalded rat at the moment. Took her to the vet when I picked her up from the pound and she has Demodectic Mange which luckily not contagious. She has lost almost all her hair and is suffering terrible from the cold so she parked right beside the radiatior which she loves. The vet treated her for it and she did her ears and nails and I have cream for her ears and some antibiotics. She was so uncomfortable but I,ve been plastering her in Aloa Vera gel which is helping. She has almost completely stopped scratching and she has a right perk in her step this morning. She is eating very well and is not underweight.I took her to the park yesterday and she is great on the lead. Walks right beside me. Loves all humans particulary men and kids. Met all the little boys coming out of school and she was great. They were having a good laugh at her mad red coat as I had to get one in a hurry to hide the state of her.No problem with dogs either. Wants to play with them all. She is about eight monts as she has just got all her teeth and they are Pearly white. She is fine in the house. I have her confined to the kitchen at the just to get her used to me going in and out. She crys for a min when I leave but settles down and if i go out she is always in her bed when I get back. Only one little Pee in the kitchen this morning and that was all my fault as I had a glass of wine with a friend last night and completely forgot to let her out. She sits and gives the paw. She is a little jumpy uppy but I,m working on it. Other than that she is a very good girl. Some pics on the way. Maura.
