OMG how can anyone neglect such a beautiful dog
Poor Benji that is so sad,but at least he is in good hands now. ![]()
Glad to hear he is in the best possible hands, Marie herself has him and despite the thousands of dogs she has seen over many years in pounds he has truly shocked her.
OMG the poor thing.
I wouldn’t even call that neglect, to get to that stage is abuse!
He looks like such a lovely dog, I hope he gets well soon.
wow this is shocking!
The poor little babe! I still get shocked at how some people treat their animals
! This little guy is gorgeous and is in the best hands. Looking forward to seeing the updates!
Best Wishes to Benji- don’t you just want to cuddle him, poor love
. At least he’s safe now ![]()
thank god he is safe now. I can’t wait to see updates of this lovely setter as he gets better. Any info and updates woudl be great. he is in good hands now. I know he is really thin – has this caused his skin condition or does he have mange? paws crossed for him. sisi
O,M,G are people 4 real how can any one do this 2 a dog

OMG!! This Poor little boy , glad he is in good hands now as he deserves nothing more than some TLC, to let him get into that state is cruelty and neglect ![]()
Benji not looking too good, he is at the vets and has dermodectic mange which he would have had from a very young pup, as a result from him scratching he has a severe secondary skin infection. He is getting the best care possible but will need a lot of well wishes to get him right and it will be a long time before he begins to look like a dog again.
hi , this is sooo sad … is he going into foster care ? is there anything we can do to help .. Joan
The poor darling, he’ll be in my thoughts and hope he is on the mend, and back to feeling himself, soon.
will say a prayer for him..the poor little mite. This picture is one of the worst I have seen of neglect! An appeal with this photo would raise much needed funds for DID..

oh god the poor love
How can anyone do this. Hope to god he gets better soon…
This poor boy is improving daily.
Yesterday I brought him Chicken and potatoes and he dived in wagging his tail. He has started to eat treats as well. The day before he had ham, grated cheese and loved the probiotic youghurt on his nuts.
He has had another bath and allowed the vet to clean out his ears without a sedative which was great. He cannot be treated for mange yet as he is too weak and would not survive it.
At the moment we are consentrating on building him up and getting his immune system working again.
Thanks to Anne Tempo for making sure he got his second chance.
Will keep you updated.
Poor poor baby. What a heartbreaking story. Sending get well wishes and gentle cuddles from me and the animals here in England.
