Just back from a lovely visit to Lisa’s and half of Belles babies, what absolute dotes they are, tiny babies but already clambering out of their basket to do their business on the newspaper!

I am fostering 4 of Belle’s pups and they arrived on Wednesday (thanks to Jane for transport). I have 4 boys – 2 brown and 2 black. They are adorable. They love their food and get hyper when they see food coming.
For just over 3 weeks they are so sturdy – not just walking, but running around. I’ll have to name them as they are little personalities and need to be identified
The smallest at 800g, is one of the black pups and what a dote he is (favorite already – know I shouldn’t, but I always do
). We’re just getting into a routine so I’ll post more photos in next few days. I love how the 2 black pups are using one of the brown ones as a pillow!

Well puppies are well settled now. One of them was unwell yesterday (got a little sick and was a bit dehydrated) and so I put him in a cosy shoe box so he could rest and I could keep an eye on him. Great news is that within a few hours he was up and running about again. I popped the shoe box into the puppy pen as the pups were fascinated with it.
They all proceeded to clamber into the box and spent the day playing and snoozing in it! Two pups have since returned to the bigger bed. ![]()

Well the puppies are now into their 5th week and doing very well. They have finished taking bottles and are now on soft kibbles. (Soooo grown up!) They are very happy little pups and love exploring the kitchen, playing with teddies and playing with each other. They love to be cuddled too.
They sleep great at night cuddling each other and their hot water bottles. We’re working on the toilet training, but there have been a few occasions when they’ve gone on the paper. ![]()
