Hi everyone, sorry I didn’t do this sooner but I didn’t know this forum was here until yesterday! Harry’s getting on great. We’ve had him a few months now and he’s getting huge! Finally eating from his own bowl, we’re so proud of him. He got his own bedroom, all for Harry, with all his things in it, his crate and chair and countless toys etc. Oh, he swam for the first time the other day, it was brilliant! Won’t swim in the river but will in the sea with us in there with him!
We got a kitten (Oscar), or should I say Harry did. We can’t separate them, if we put them in different rooms they go up to opposite sides of the door and cry. Always playing and cuddling! Oscar’s bed is up on Harry’s crate now.
Heres 3 photos of Harry and a link to his album on photobucket. there’ll be about 30 if I can get them uploaded. My internet exploerer keeps crashing.May 16, 2009 at 10:51 am #84995AnonymousInactiveoh. my . god. cutest pictures ever they are so cute together!!!! May 19, 2009 at 6:04 pm #85104CiaranMemberI think photobucket hates me, it keeps crashing my internet explorer when I’m uploading! Thought I’d let you all know that Harry is going to the vets in the morning to get the snip. I’m very nervous! He gets very stressed in the vets. Which is understandable considering how much time he’s had to spend in them already. I’ll let ye know how he gets on. No doubt he’ll cry the place down as soon as we leave!

Usually after the shot they get put in a crate untill they go under, but not our harry! He was so stressed he had to come back out to the waiting room with us untill he conked out! But his happy out now. Like nothing ever happend to him. Gave him a big bone so he’s delighted.

They look very happy and content together. Many of you would not know but when Harry was given to us he needed life saving surgery. The particular operation he required had never been done here before but we were very lucky that a visiting surgeon to UCD had performed it several times before in his own country.
Harry was unable to eat like a normal pup due to a problem with the tube to his stomach. He was dying from lack of food.
The surgery was a risk but his only chance and luckily it was a major success. He took months to recover only able to eat very little and very often. But now that’s all history and look at him now.
Well worth the fight to give him that chance and he certainly seems to be living life to the full
Well done Harry we are all delighted to hear from you and glad to see you are doing wellJune 20, 2011 at 11:15 am #105571kaydoyleMember
