ALVA2.JPGDecember 18, 2011 at 12:21 am #107645DID RescueKeymasterGreat little girl, good looking and a small collie x spaniel.
A work in progress I would think at the moment.
She was fairly underweight which is improving daily after worming and regular feeding.
Loves everybody and is learning NOT to jump on everyone.
She loves our daily walks off lead and has good recall for a youngster.
She adores food and treats are major so training should be easier
She is fantastic on the lead and great off lead.
Housetraining is getting there still the odd accident but I am sure that will be sorted in the next few days.
More updates soon.

alv2.JPGJanuary 19, 2012 at 11:37 am #108006sallycMemberHi, my name is Kizzie (I used to be called Alva, for those who knew me then) and I’ve been with my new family for 5 days now. I have a new big brother called Zembe as well as my people family. I make my people give me lots of cuddles by being very cute and asking for lots of attention. I like to find their shoes and socks and carry them around the house when they aren’t giving me attention – I don’t think they understand why but I expect they will work it out sometime – they seem quite quick to learn.
Me and Zembe play all the time, and we have lots of fun wrestling and chasing each other around the house, in the garden and on walks. On the second day with the family I told Zembe that I was going to be the boss now, and I would have his bed as well as my bed, and his toys and chews as well as mine, and I thought I was going to get away with it for a couple of days, but then Zembe decided he wasn’t happy with this arrangement, so we have agreed to share everything and take turns now. My people family seem to be very pleased with this too.
When me and Zembe aren’t playing in the house or having a quick nap, I take Zembe and my people family for lots of walks to nice places like the beach, the moor and the wood, as well as the lane and fields next to the house. Sally has taken lots of photos of us playing and going for walks and says she will upload some later (whatever that means!).
Before I go, I would like to say a big licky thank-you to Marie and her son for saving me from the pound, and for feeding me and looking after me so well all that time.
