I had a great run around the forest today. It was a new place for me with lots of new sniffs and rabbit and badger holes . My foster sister Bea and my foster cousins Rusty, Suki and Polly came too and showed me all the good places to run. I was so good on the way home we stopped off and I got a new collar (see below). I had been wearing an old faded one ever since I dived into the ditch headfirst and came out without my lovely first collar . My foster Mum had to ask Aunty Kathy to send me out a new tag . But now I will be smart again with my new one and no one will be able to resist adopting me

I love the water and swimming, I go for a dip any chance I get. I even tried it a few weeks ago when there was ice on the canal: I had great fun breaking the ice then grabbing a lump and bringing it back to my foster Mum. My foster Mum said if I got the gin and tonic too there’d be a queue around the block to adopt me, I am looking but I haven’t found them yet
I went back to the vets tonight for a check up after my op. I was ever so good there (not like another poor dog who was squealing her heart out in the waiting room, I tried to tell her it was ok but she wouldn’t listen). And the nice surprise was I didn’t have to get stitches out they were special dissolving ones. Plus I can tell you a secret I was so good I didn’t have to wear the collar of shame after my op. AND I didn’t touch the wound one my foster Mum told me not to. I’m sure I should be getting a crown or something by now…

All was going well, I had "duck for tea " in my sights until they flew off and the next thing Mr Swan was after me. Those swans can swim super fast and they are some scary birds, be warned fellow doggies
Sorry my dopey human can only seem to put the photos side ways
