This is the difference foster families make…from terrified in the pound to a happy sleep after his run on the beach ![]()

This little fellow arrived yesterday and he is a real dote.
He is young and innocent and craves love and attention, he stays at my feet most of the time.
He has had no accidents so far which is very impressive.
And he was excellent off lead at the beach yesterday, and was great with the gang of 4…three terriers and a lab x
He is smaller than an average lab but still has some filling out to do, he is quite thin at present, though I doubt he’ll grow much taller.
He loves his food and I feel he would be easy to train.
In my (slightly biased cause my own is similar size) he is the perfect size, and a super temperament.

This young chappie is doing really well.
He is fully house trained, has been wormed and flea treated. Due for neutering very soon.
He is soooo loving, he never is far from my side. He is lying down underneath my chair as I type ![]()
He is good on and off lead, has learned to sit and is learning to give the paw. He is still at the age he is squatting to pee, hasn’t learned to lift the leg yet ![]()
Don’t get me wrong he is still very much a puppy so he will still chew your shoe or anything he might steal from the counter given half the chance
. Yesterday he chewed up his special collar that lights up to improve visibility on these dark nights and then he hid the evidence down the back of the settee the clever daemon
![]()
He is good with other dogs and LOVES playing. He loves his teddies and is quite gentle with them (unless they get involved in a tug-of-war!!
He also loves running round and his walks, which are important for all dogs.
Because he is a black dog it can be hard to capture his cuteness on film. I read recently that one of the reasons that black dogs are the hardest to home is that we struggle to see their expressions especially in a photo, but trust me he has a wealth of expressions the most common being his "I love you" face ![]()
And believe me after 20 + years of white dogs BLACK IS BEST with regard to the hairs showing up on clothes, furniture etc. mind you he doesn’t seem to shed much at the moment.
We would like to come and meet Aero – how do we go about this please? Thank you.
Sarah and Jago

I had a great run around the forest today. It was a new place for me with lots of new sniffs and rabbit and badger holes
. My foster sister Bea and my foster cousins Rusty, Suki and Polly came too and showed me all the good places to run. I was so good on the way home we stopped off and I got a new collar (see below). I had been wearing an old faded one ever since I dived into the ditch headfirst and came out without my lovely first collar
. My foster Mum had to ask Aunty Kathy to send me out a new tag
. But now I will be smart again with my new one and no one will be able to resist adopting me ![]()
