The Flora Women’s Mini Marathon is taking place on Monday 4th June 2012.

We had a number of wonderful volunteers last year who took part on behalf of Dogs in Distress.

If anyone is thinking of taking part this year and would like to raise some much needed funds on behalf of Dogs in Distress please email animalhelper@dogsindistress.org and we can forward a sponsorship card.

Dogs in Distress are registered and appear in the list of charities on the Flora Mini Marathon website.

The closing date for entires is Friday 20th April (or when maximum number of entries is reached). Early entry is advised to secure a place.

Hi everyone!

I’m planning on doing a few events this year, all in aid of DID. I’ll be starting off with the Womens Mini Marathon, and I am planning on getting a t-shirt made. It’s a great way to advertise and get chatting to people about the charity.It can also be a way for us all to spot each other on the day! Would anyone else like me to get them one made too? I am hoping that the price wont be over €10, and with anything like that, the more you buy the cheaper they are. I’ve got no definitive price yet, but if anyone would like one let me know! You could send me a private mail or post here.
