Well – Tess is doing great. She is such an easy going dog, so small and undemanding. She likes to spend her free time in her basket with her cuddley toy, mini duvet and heat pad. She is in the lap of luxury. I say to her – you are retired now Tess so you should just relax and enjoy yourself. Tess is about ten though – so still has lots of energy when is comes to her favourite passtime – going fo a walk. She is so funny – and smart. When she senses that there might be a walk on the cards she does little circles and gestures with her head towards the door. She makes us laugh! She is great t have around.

Tess would be so obviously a great companion for an older person. She gives you a great incentive to get out for a little walk – even if it’s just around the block or around to the shops she wants to go with you. And she doesn’t pull on the lead. Also – she is housetrained. She had a few little accidents over the first few weeks with me but now she is brilliant.

I hope someone might home Tess soon. I can really only foster one dog at a time. I love Tess so much but want to see her settled with someone who can give her more time than I can (I work full time so she spends a lot of time alone which isn’t right). Also I can only foster one dog at a time so if you can give Tess a home you will be helping more than one dog. Please consider Tess.

A lovely lady contacted DID as she was intrested in Tess. However she had a cat. I took Tess to my friends house who has 2 cats and Tess nearly had a cardiac! She’s not good with cats unfortunately!
