Big hug delivered…to the most gorgeous of dogs. Will post pictures as soon as possible. Baya sleeps with Brin in their own room, single beds of course, and has the run of our 1/2 acre garden so she gets plenty of exercise as well as her short walks. I try to limit her time playing as I dont want to overtire her at the moment. As I posted she is still settling in and this may take a little while yet. She did have an upset stomach for a couple of days but, what with a long journey and changes of venue, you could not blame her one bit. Where we live is so quiet. Just us, surrounded by fields and 3 farm holdings, with the beach only 15 minutes away. We are total beach people so spend most of our spare time there (when not taming the garden). Brin has adapted well to environment and I am sure (judging by her antics on Saturday) that Baya will too. It will interesting to see if she attempts to go into the surf- maybe, like Brin, she will want to follow the children.
I work mostly from home so am around for our animals for the majority of the time. I just love working in the office and having the dogs contently lying at my feet- sure couldn’t do this if I went out to work.
You did such a great job of fostering her- she came in such great condition. All we shall try to do now is build her confidence and book her and Michel into dog obediance classes. I think he needs a little training!!
All the best Catherine and good luck with your new foster dogs.
