MemberHiya! Meet Rosie! She is appx. 3 yrs old. Purebred Bichon. She is on the smaller side. She has just been spayed, and is UTD with all her vaccinations, and is all ready to find her new forever family!
She is good with children, although she jumps up, so maybe kids past the toddler age would be best. She is the sweetest little dog with the most lovely nature….all sunshine and waggy tails! She can be a bit naughty, especially when it comes to thieving (but that’s kind of par for the course for the breed…cheeky little dog!). She’s good with other dogs. I suspect she’d chase cats if given the chance, but just to play. There is absolutely zero aggression of any sort. Mostly she’s just a goof. She barks when she’s with my dog, who is an inveterate barker. However, if left on her own she doesn’t bark much. The one thing she loves above all else is snuggling. She is the cuddliest little lovebug in the world! Once she has a good walk (she’s fairly energetic and will need good long walks/playtime every day), she’s quite happy to follow you around and jump up for snuggles.
Overall, she’s a lovely little thing that needs a stable, forever home with folks who are willing to love her, exercise her, teach her some tricks, and let her be a part of the family. She would LOVE a home with kids (who have previously owned a dog) to play with, or even another dog. But really, she would fit in anywhere. We love her to bits and would keep her forever, but two dogs long-term are just impractical for us right now. However, we can’t say enough nice things about her. Don’t pass this little pudding up, folks! Your new best friend/shadow is waiting right here for you!

MemberRosie is on grand form. Even howling wind and rain can’t dampen this little nugget’s enthusiasm. While the fat westie had to be dragged out of doors for walkies today, Rosie happily trotted out into the elements, no bother! We met some other foolhardy friends trying to make the best of it at the park, and Rosie mixed well. A good all-rounder. All dried off with a full belly, she’s settled in for the evening, and isn’t shy about trying to edge the fat westie out of the prized spot on the mammy’s lap.

MemberHi sorry for the delay in updated Rosie the Bichon Frise adopted four months ago but finally managed to get onto the forum. What can I say but Rosie is a fantastic addition to my home. She is so loving and well behaved sometimes I cant believe how lucky I am to have her. She settled in really quickly only cried the first night and did not want to sleep alone but has never cried since and sleeps all night. She loves cuddles, being groomed and walks on the beach where she charms everyone she meets. I have been very lucky to meet some terrific people from DID who have been very helpful Clair and Caroline and Pauline and their friends too and Rosie has a great time with all their dogs and loves the beach. I am attaching some photos to let everyone see how she has settled and what a little character she is.
