Biggs got his name in error – I thought he was the biggest of the 4 pups when I got him, but I got him mixed up. He is probably turning out to be the smallest and most definitely the one who wants to be loved. He is a little less robust than the others in that he had an upset tummy both times his food changed. He adores human company and would stay in my arms all day if I let him (I’m trying not to spoil him for his new family!!). Occasionally he will cry at bedtime, but a few cuddles and pop him back in with his brothers and he snoozes all night. He often takes himself off to bed while the others are playing, so isn’t as high energy as his brothers. His toilet training is coming on well – he loves to please and get praise. He is a good eater, but quite mannerly!

They hadn’t been out of the kitchen area since they arrived. Note that they are all tails down and cautiously venturing into the hallway – but little Biggs is just looking at foster Mam……this little boy will love his human more than anything. He gives the best cuddles.

Image.jpgFebruary 10, 2014 at 4:09 pm #119285yoddyMemberJust another nice photo of little Biggs….he is very photogenic (or maybe he just stays still longer than his brothers ). He is turning into a real little poser! Biggs is a very happy little chappie and loves to play with his brothers, but prefers to play with me.
IMG_1661.JPGFebruary 16, 2014 at 12:29 pm #119374yoddyMemberBiggs may be the smallest of my 4 pups, but he can certainly stand up for himself with his 3 bigger brothers! He is very confident and takes them all on – not a bother to him. He loves his food and treats. As he is the smallest, I was in the sitting room last week and next thing, this little pup is at my feet, tail wagging at his accomplishment! He got out through the dog gate and found me! His brothers (being more on the weighty side) couldn’t follow him, and so Biggs was very proud of his adventure. The gate has now been made Biggs proof! Biggs is 8 weeks on Tuesday and so after being microchipped, vaccinated and wormed during the week, Biggs would be ready to be homed at the weekend. Biggs would love his forever family to be waiting for him….

IMG_1732.JPGFebruary 25, 2014 at 12:07 pm #119522yoddyMemberBiggs was microchipped and vaccinated last week. He found the vet thing a bit scary and so piddled on the vet! However he was a brave boy and didn’t cry when he got his 2 jabs! He is a very lovable boy and his temperament hasn’t changed since he arrived. He still adores to be picked up and cuddled. He is a good eater and loves his kibbles and treats. I think Biggs would prefer human company over a dog (but it would be great if he could have both ). He is very happy mixing with people and playing with them. Biggs is a little sweetie…..

IMG_1781.JPGMarch 2, 2014 at 12:41 pm #119602yoddyMemberLittle Biggs will be 10 weeks old on Tuesday. He is missing Bubba and would love to find his forever home. I thought Biggs would be happy with a home with just humans, but he is definitely missing a playmate. He is adorable and quite low maintenance when he has a companion. He is smaller than the other pups and not as energetic. He will have his 2nd vaccination this week and is more than ready to go out into the World. Biggs would love to be part of a family now… I can’t believe he hasn’t been snapped up – he even takes care of the household bills.

IMG_1791.JPGMarch 3, 2014 at 11:06 am #119608yoddyMemberBiggs is interviewing for a snoozing buddy now that Bubba has gone. Although Henry the kitten was very interested in the role, Biggs wasn’t too impressed. Goldie certainly didn’t apply for the job, but Biggs is determined to headhunt her for the job…..he likes a challenge.

IMG_20140302_213451.jpgMarch 4, 2014 at 11:26 am #119633yoddyMemberBiggs has moved to a new foster home where he can potter about safely with 3 friendly dogs. (My pair did not like Biggs hanging out with us after Bubba left ) Big thank you to Kathy for arranging the move and to Linda for fostering Biggs.
Biggs was very happy on Sunday when we went visiting my sister. She has no dogs, but there were a lot of people in the house who played with Biggs and he was very content. I think Biggs would be fine in a forever home with or without another dog as he loves human company.March 6, 2014 at 12:31 am #119688Linda8MemberWell, we are delighted to have little Biggs come and stay with us, he is absolutely adorable. He was a little scared at first in his new surroundings but he has settled in quickly. He is such a happy little chappy and he has a beautiful shiny coat and a lovely long tail that is always wagging.. Its so funny watching play with Trixys squeaky pig because each time it squeaks he gets a fright and jumps back from it and barks at it and then goes back to it. He has bursts of energy and then he flakes out with the rest of them for a while..He gets so excited when the lads come in from school and he runs to them wagging his tail and when you are talking to him he looks straight into your eyes as if he knows exactly what your saying .. He also likes to watch Dance Mams with me during the day, I dont know whether its the music or the girls but he sits there beside me staring at the telly.. This little guy has brought so much joy into our home in the space of a few days and in return only asks to be loved..

He can move about freely with your dogs and I love the middle photo of Biggs chilling with the gang. He is a gorgeous little guy and very easy going – surely there is a home out there that needs Biggs in their life? Thanks again Linda.
March 6, 2014 at 1:25 pm #119697Linda8MemberWell, thanks to you Yvonne he has had the best care he could wish for so far and it shows in his temperament. He is so full of hugs & kisses for everyone .. Myself, the kids, the other doggies and even the rabbits

biggs5.jpgMarch 16, 2014 at 10:06 pm #119880Linda8MemberWell little Biggs (or Shadow) as my kids call him is getting on great. He had his second lot of needles the other day and there was not a bother on him. He will be able to go out for walks soon although he scratches at his collar every now and then but he is getting used to it..This little guy has such a great personality and watches everything that goes on around him. Here is a little video of him out on the trampoline with the others. He gets on great with other dogs and humans alike so he will fit in to a new home, with no problem..
