January 6, 2014 at 9:58 pm #118759ColetteMemberThis little sweetheart arrived last week. Thanks to Caroline for doing transport. When she arrived she was timid and cowered a lot particularly if you tried to pet her. But she quickly settled in with our other three young ladies. She is a pleasure to have in the house being quiet, obedient and fully house trained. She is great with other dogs and with people – young and old. She absolutely loves her walk on the beach, bouncing along and wagging her tail. We let her off the lead all the time and she always stays close by. Our three dogs love her. They all cosy up together every night and go to sleep without making a sound. She loves cuddling into you and showering you with kisses. It’s hard to believe that anyone could abandon this sweet natured little treasure. She is an absolute perfect pet for any loving home.

January 12, 2014 at 2:30 pm #118858IndiannaMemberWhat have you been up to Cara?
January 12, 2014 at 9:38 pm #118870ColetteMemberWell Cara has certainly made herself at home over the past week. She is a little gem so affectionate and loving to everyone and gets on brilliantly with our gang. She looks so happy on her walks on the beach with her little tail wagging with delight. She is very easygoing and we love her little personality. She is growing in confidence every day and is a very happy little soul. She is very undemanding and would suit any home lucky enough to adopt her. Will update with photos tomorrow
January 18, 2014 at 5:56 pm #118951IndiannaMemberDear Cara (pretty Cara) please beg your great foster family to let us see a happier image of you. I know they will be busy caring for you and your foster siblings, but it would make one of my wishes come true Fingers crossed
January 19, 2014 at 6:09 pm #118976ColetteMemberHi Everybody
Here are some up to date photos of me taken by my foster parents. I’m having a great time here with my family especially with my sisters Mika and Carrie. My family say I’m a little gem – affectionate, friendly, easy-going, fun-loving, and dare I say, an absolute stunner with my one ear one and one ear down, I think they even wrote a song about me!!! You can buy it on this site. This week I’m going to have my op and I’ve been told I’m going to get a lovely new bonnet. Will let you know how I get on.

Thank you for posing for your new images and thank your foster family for enabling me to tick off one of my wishes Following
January 28, 2014 at 9:17 pm #119114ColetteMemberWell our little girl is over her op and recovering very well. She’s a fantastic patient and the hardest part is letting her at home when her foster sisters are being taken for their walk. Just another few days of tlc and she will be back on the beach running wild. The longer she is with us the more we love her. She is full of fun, affectionate, gentle, obedient – oh, and did I mention, at times, mischievous? Forgot to tell you that she ate Gran’s hearing aid at the weekend. Gran still loves her though!!!! She doesn’t like being left on her own so a home with another dog would be perfect but not essential. She has had a tough start in life and deserves the best future possible.
January 29, 2014 at 12:14 am #119117IndiannaMemberYou ate your grans hearing aid? Poor gran – you will now have to be her assistance dog, e.g. ‘telling her when the telephone rings, or when someone is at the door. It’s nice that she still loves you but who wouldn’t.
January 29, 2014 at 12:07 pm #119124yoddyMemberHi Indiana – thought you’d like to know that Cara is Alfie’s mum. The colouring is different but don’t their faces look so alike? I know you’re following Alfie, so thought you’d be interested in that.
January 31, 2014 at 7:44 pm #118715IndiannaMemberBeen trying not to look but I have failed many times over Have you been back to the beach Cara? If you started swimming would you be going east or west? For me, east would be best Thank you yoddy, have fallen for the beautiful eyes and very taken with both of them and their eyes
February 7, 2014 at 12:40 am #119233ColetteMemberOur little girl got her stitches out on Tuesday and is back to running wild on the beach but not swimming yet, mind you with all the rain at the moment she doesn’t need the sea to get wet. She gets so excited when we go out that she has now started to speak which is hilarious. She makes all these funny sounds and loves to bark when she meets new friends along the way. She has a great little personality and we all love her very much.
