Jake has settled in very comfortably with his foster family. He made it a very easy transition. He is a perfect house guest, spotlessly clean, a non fussy eater and quiet.
Jake is a very curious chap and involves himself in all home activities. Loves walking and being generally out and about. Great improvement in lead work and cooperation. Jake is a great guy. Deserves a caring and loving forever home.

    Update from Jake’s foster family:

Jake has put on some much needed weight. He enjoys his walks and can get into and out of the car without any fuss and settles down nicely to enjoy the ride. He is very gentle with children and is everybody’s friend. He is a very good watchdog. However, he does not bark needlessly or constantly, so there is no danger of nuisance or annoyance being caused to neighbours etc. He is happiest when out and about having fun. These pics are his way of letting us know that it’s his walking time….lest we forget!!!

ake is now very settled in his foster environment, and into our routine. In fact,he keeps us on our toes to stick to that routine; walking, feeding, sleeping, towelling,if he gets wet. He loves order, and his own little possessions. He still has some issues with cats. He would be an ideal dog for a family with a good large garden/play area, where people are at home a lot. He would be a wonderful companion for active sporty youngsters. Jake would give back more love and loyalty, than he could ever receive.

Jakey arrived to us on Sunday, full of kisses and licks :-) Firstly I would like to THANK Breda and Norman so much as Jakey looks absolutely great and its a total testament of how well he was looked after. His coat is gleaming and he is just about at the optimum weight :-)

Breda gave me a lot of information on Jake and how he much he has come on / improved. He is still a little nervous being in the house, he actually seems happier out side which is a nice change for us as our 4 would literally rather spend 24 hours a day in the sitting room!

We have only had him 24 hours but I can tell he is a very sweet boy, He lay on his bed and let our (very loud, excited) 18 month old pet him and rub him.

I will take some photos of him over the next couple of days.
