This is another gentle little guy! Getting on great with the others and doing well on the toilet training ![]()

Jakie like his brother and sister is another quiet chilled out little puppy. Was snoozing when I was there, even with all the activity going on around him.
Jakie went to his new home this morning
His new family promised loads of updates! Be happy little man ![]()

"From Jakey (now Mac) family":
Just thougth you would like an update on Mac now that he has been with us for a year. He is completely one of the family, we can’t imagine life without him.
As you can see he is pretty settled and relaxed, we were recently in West Cork and discovered he loves swimming (as well as everything else!). He does tend to have a sensitive tummy which according to our vet is commen enough with GS, but as you can see it is not in any way holding him back, in fact since these photos were taken about a month ago I have had to let out his collar another hole. He is a bouncey, happy dog, still has his timid moments but is still pretty young. He is good with other dogs as you can see when we looked after Dougie when my parent’s in law were away (Dougie is another DID adoptee). His training has gone (and continues to go) well and by in large he is pretty mannerly and is brillant company. In fact as I type this he is lying behind me infront of the fire!
I hope things are going well for you and your family and all your foster dogs.
With best wishes,
Anne (Ryder)

Mac new little sister arrived on the scene and he has to be gentle as he is a giant in comparison….

From Mac (aks Jakies) family
Mac (AKA Jakie) has been with us almost two years now and having recently adoped ‘Pippy’ from DID I though I would give you a quick update on Mac.
He has grown to be a big dog and is full of energy. He has taken wonderfully to Pippy and is very gentle with her despite her bouncy puppy behaviour and puppy teeth! He is still one to go slowly into new situations feeling his way first rather than just bowling in. He is wonderful company and very much a people dog, he spends a lot of his time quietly beside me while I work pretending he is not inside when he knows he should be outside. You would think such a big dog would be hard to miss but somehow he manages to just be there quietly asleep at my feet without me realising it.1jakey.JPG

"Mac, previously Jakie is also a DID and now with us four years. He is big and a total baby despite his size. He loves being with us and can usually be found asleep beside me where ever I am working, either inside or out. He and ‘Pippy’ have mad moments where they both do circuits of the house (outside) ducking and chasing each other, a real case of little and large and very funny to watch.
I hope all is well with you, your family and your extended canine family. I keep in touch with the website and when ever I have a down day the ‘Happy Endings’ always puts a smile on my face.
In one of the pics there are "3" DID doggies ![]()

A quick update on Mac. He is still a big baby and the most needy of the dogs, he is just not totally convinced the world loves him unreservedly as the other two are. He has managed to retain his ability to be invisable, despite his size, when he knows he is somewhere he should not be, (under the table while I am working and the other dogs outside). He loves the weekly runs and holiday long walks and friends are constantly likening him to a wolf. The jumping photo attached has to be one of my favourite of him, he is in his element and very definately his happy place!jp3.JPG
Lovely to see how well Mac doing, I was curious to know. I have his brother Jamie, dodgy stomach, very timid and shy but so loving and loyal, he’s a gentle giant. Its amazing to see how alike they are only Jamie is black and tan and his ears stand up, he even has tat strange bump on his head like Mac
Great pic of him jumping there, does he gallop like as if he tinks he’s a horse by any chance?? ![]()
