Well Bruce has been here a couple hours now and OMG, he is adorable.
He comes when called, he loves the kids and is sooooo gentle with them. He has met Bella, our one year old lab and they just ran and ran around the back garden. He has also met one of my cats , he didnt seem to know what to make of her but he had a sniff and went on with his business lol.
Really beautiful dog, ill upload pics over the nxt few days, once i have bathed him ![]()
So its been a busy first day with Bruce. Poor little man has been to the vets for an upset tummy. He has an infection somewhere and is on an antibiotic for the next few days.
Even though he was feeling under the weather he was still full of cuddles all day.
He will make someone a very very loyal companion.
Ill keep you all posted on his progress. ![]()
Bruce had a great night last night. He hasnt been sick at all since yesterday evening.
i will upload some pics soon.
He is a beautiful dog, very well behaved. No accidents in the house at all , he waits to be let outside to go ![]()
So poor Bruce has been a very unwell little pup. He has a viral infection which made him vomit non stop. Thank god he is getting the care he deserves over in the vets where he seems to be doing really well.
Fingers crossed he continues to do well and i will keep you all informed on his progress.
Although he was only with us for the two days, we all really miss him at home.
Keep him in your prayers please ![]()
Bruce I hope you are feeling well again soon – get well wishes are winging their way to you!
Thanks for the gud wishes, its amazing how the little fellas can capture your heart in such a short amount of time isn’t it.
Hi Everyone,
So Bruce is still in the vets, but is doing really really well. They are very pleased with his progress, please keep all you good vibes coming our way as we cant wait to get him home.
Bella our own dog is also in the vets with Bruce
She ended up catching the tummy bug Bruce had but we are looking to be able to take them back home together this weekend.
Keep those fingers crossed for us, the house is soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo quiet without them.
My cats think its great though, they can walk around freely without having to look around corners to make sure the dogs arent there looking for a play
Fingers X ![]()
This little man is home and doing great
Even better news is that he has stolen his foster families hearts and is not changing address

Hi there,
Well Bruce, who is now known as Floyd, is doing so so good. Hes such a great guy that just loves cuddles. He will sit up on your lap , two paws on your shoulder and rest his head on your chest.
Adoreable, big time.
We went with the name change because Bruce just didnt suit him, he is far far too laid back for the mighty name that is Bruce. So as Pink Floyd is always being played on a gutair here, with the little man chilling at your feet , we decided on Floyd
He is staying here with us forever, he just fits in.
Thanks so much to the guys at DID for helping us along Floyd’s road to recovery.
Well…this little man was offically adopted today
He is beautiful and so small…half the size of a lab…he is adored by his forever family and it is so hard to believe how sick he was…he has the softest, silkiest coat and is so gentle and loving
Congratulations and well done to Tracy and family…looking forward to loads of updates ![]()
