This little man is gone into foster with Eddie (Yorkie)
Just got Scooby home
He’s an absolute dote! As I type he’s curled up on the couch with his head rested on Kevin’s knee
He must be someones lost companion!! He waits at the door to go to the toilet, rolls over for a rub, he obeys basic commands, walks to heel on the lead, doesn’t beg for food, and gets on great with Sophie and Bailey. He also travels extremely well in the car. He lies on the seat and pops up on your knee the odd time to see where he’s going. He’s got an undershot jaw which just adds to his buckets of personality!!
He’s a tiny little man but he’s bundles of fun. He’s showed absolutely no food agression…He even ate with a cat when we collected him from the kennels
He will allow you to take his bowl while he’s eating and will accept food from your hand with no problem. He’s a happy little guy that loves a cuddle and would fit happily right into anyones life. We’re not sure how he is with children though because we haven’t been able introduced him to any yet…He’s giong to have a nice bath in a while to make him feel, and smell, a little better
so there will be plenty of pictures to the little guy to follow
I’m sure a bath will make him feel better, what a dear little man, who could part with him. Looking forward to hearing how he gets on and hope a new forever family will soon arrive. ![]()
Poor Scooby had to pay a visit to the vet today. He had a brilliant night sleep in his new doggie bed but sounded a bit wheezy. This morning he waited at the door for a walk and very kindly did all of his business outside. He hasn’t had one accident in the house
After his walk he had a little doggie nap but had an upset tummy when he woke up
We brought him out to the vet to check out his wheeze and tummy. The poor guy has been put on a week of antibiotics to ease his wheeze. He was an absolute gent in the vets, he had everything examined and had an injection with no problems
…We also discovered that our little Scooby is actually 10-12 years old
Hes had a good sleep…and some sneaky cuddles…so he should be right as rain in no time
He is an absolute sweetheart and would be an amazing addition to any family. The vet even commented on his disposition as we were leaving saying that he was definitely a well loved pet and he has the sweetest temperament.
There will be loads of pictures to follow tomorrow..I had a few problems trying to upload them earlier today ![]()

Brilliant photos…well done and thank you ![]()
Is Scooby actually asleep with his tongue hanging out??????? Cuteness personified!!!
Yea he is undoubtedly a super little man and he is full of character
Infact every time i see him i think of the Gruffalo ![]()
Thankfully his antibiotics have cleared his wheeze and he’s tearing around the field with our other two yorkies
For an older dog hes still got some amount of energy left
But he’s also partial to a cheeky cuddle and a snooze when he comes home
He’s an absolutely great little companion for anyone humans and dogs alike!!He always greets you with a waggy tail and loads of kisses…definitely a tiny little guy with a huge heart of gold.

I know it’s Baileys bed…But it’s got my name on it

Having a cheeky cuddle and a nap
Would love to have this little man but my lad is very possessive. There must be someone looking for an older companion. They have such a lot of love to give and older dogs are used to living in families and often don’t need such long walks. ![]()
Hi guys sorry its been a while since the last update on Scooby, Ive been doing exams ![]()
Scooby is doing great. We had to bring him to the vet again last week because he had a sinus infection. Turns out the infection was caused by his teeth, which were in a bad state
He went into the vets last tuesday to be neutered and had a full dental work up while he was there, and now thanks to Paul Kelly(his vet) he has a sparkling set of teeth and his cold is clearing up nicely
He was feeling a little sorry for him self on tuesday evening but by wednesday he had more life in him then ever
Ive never seen a dog recover so fast from an op! ![]()
He is an amazing little dog! And he will make a great companion for someone. He’s a low maintenance little man that needs two short walks a day and a few cuddles in between.
I’ll put up some more photos and updates later ![]()
Hi Guys! Some good news…..
We got a phone call last night to say that a lovely family in Limerick wanted to adopt Scooby. So about an hour ago Scooby set off to his new home! He’s got 6brothers and sisters(all golden retrivers), a doggie passport for his holidays, and a loving new mam and dad. We wish him and his new family a great new life together. I think he’s possibly the luckiest little dog ever, infact I reckon if he was a human he’d have fallen on hard times and then won the lottery twice in a row now
)
So sad to see the little man go
but delighted that he’s gone to live with such a nice new people ![]()
Spoke to Scoobys lovely new mammy (Kay) this morning and he has settled in great. They adore him and hopefully he will have many years of love with them. They have promised loads of photos
Be happy little man ![]()
Ah that’s wonderful news… best wishes to Scooby and his Forever Family
