This little man is in foster with Georgina who will update soon
chappy.jpgSeptember 20, 2012 at 5:46 pm #111504k9sMemberWell this little chap is definitely a Happy Chappie! He’s full of love and fun, and bounds around the garden chasing after a plastic bottle. He has loads of energy, but will settle down once the "pack" are together and snooze quietly.
Everything is new to him, and you’ll often see him tilt his head sideways in an inquisitive manner if he sees or hears something he hasn’t seen before! Yesterday is was police sirens on the tv!! Very funny.
He doesn’t like being on his own, but gets on very well with other dogs. Even Molly the Collie deigns to like him even though she normally loathes the presence of other dogs!
He would make an excellent companion for someone who’s home a good bit, or for someone thinking of getting a second dog.

He doesn’t seem to bother our 7 year old golden retriever and just lets her get on with her life. He really is a people’s dog and loves to cuddle on the couch and sit at your feet. He runs off into the sitting room when we sit down for dinner every night and comes back when we are finished.
He is very well behaved and a really likable dog. Everyone who comes to visit falls in love with the little guy even people who would never like a small dog. He’s great off the lead and loves the beach. He loves to play in the garden and is very energetic but will settle back down when he comes inside. He really is fantastic he never bites and sits when told to most of the time. He doesn’t mind the cat unless the cat runs, of course. The cat does mind him and stays away from the house even though he attacked a fox in the garden the other week, he’s still scared of Chappie.
We are still boggled on how he’s in the position of looking for a home as he really is great fun and no trouble whatsoever and extremely obedient. He would be a great addition to anyone’s family.October 13, 2012 at 10:10 pm #111795kaydoyleMemberFab photos and brilliant update…thank you
October 23, 2012 at 4:13 pm #111934cianmgMemberChappie is getting on great. Hes getting better on the lead every walk. He also sits 100% of the time now. He really is a fast learner and has stopped following people up the stairs. He does have a bark every morning with the neighborhood dogs. But when he comes inside he settles back down. He also started barking when the soup started burning therefor he would be a great dog for people who burn things :d
Chappie would be the perfect dog for any household everyone who meets him instantly falls in love with his beautiful nature. He does get lonely though so he would appreciate another dog or someone who is home a lot. He also will need an enclosed garden as he does like to visit the neighbors gardens . We still don’t know how he is getting in as we have blocked off every tiny gap.

We love Chappie. He is such a great little dog. He has settled in really well. Dilly is taking it all in her stride too. Hard life for them both as you can see. We are delighted with Chappie and thrilled Dilly has taken to him so well. They spend the day running around the garden and the evening by the fire! We will stay in touch. Thanks for everything.
