This morning Daisy arrived to our home with her brother Deelo, Oh she really is a beauty! While we’ve only had her a few hours we are already besotted. She has the most beautiful eyes and gentle personality. She follows her ‘big’ brother everywhere and wants nothing more than to be playing with him or sleeping in our arms. Both dogs took their first feed with us no problem and seem to be happy and content – fingers crossed it lasts!!!

So far so good with delicious Daisy! She really is adorable, shes so small and cute but big on personality! She loves her ‘big’ brother Deelo, follows him every where, loves her food and most of all lying in someones arms getting a big cuddle!
I expected to be up half the night last night with 2 whining puppies in the house but there wasnt a peep out of them. We went up to bed about 11 ish, the dogs had been asleep beside us on the couch for a few hours at that stage, we put them out to go to the toilet before we settled them down on their bed, crossed our fingers and hoped for the best – well lucky us! We slept without interruption until the alarm went off at 7am this morning, they were just so good. Then surprise no 2 – we came into the kitchen expecting a few little puddles and God know what else, well lo and behold, they had used the newspapers we had left beside the door, how incredible is that!
I’ll post some more pics up later, in the meantime I’ve two adorable pups to go hug!!
Some pics taken today …………

This is amazing, the dogs have spent their second night with us now and still not a peep out of them at night time. They’ve really settled in now, and have got more used to us, so really I was prepared for a bit of barking and whining after we went up to bed, but no … not a sound, how lucky are we!
Daisy is adorable, she’s so dainty! She looks you right in the eyes when you rub her ears and considering the rough play that herself and her brother enjoy, shes gentle as a kitten (OMG did I compare her to a cat!!) when she’s in your arms, really sweet.
Toilet training is going really well, we had a little accident this morning but hey, shes a pup, 1 accident in 3 days is, I’d say, pretty good. Well done Daisy!
Dainty Daisy!

Everything continues to go well with Daisy. I think the name really suits her, shes just sooo pretty.
She has a very gentle nature too, she loves being lifted up and cuddled and really relaxes into your arms, all happy and cosy. Watching her playing with her ‘big’ brother Deelo is so funny, they are just hilarious together, she follows him everywhere, what ever he is into, she into too. In fact, I’d be very interested to see more of her personality if she were without him, she seems incredibly gentle to me for a puppy and loves to look up at you while shes being cuddled with big adoring eyes, ah bless!!
Toilet training is going really well, Im so pleased with both dogs. If I get time later I’ll try to put up a few really nice pics I took of Daisy earlier, if I dont get a chance tonight, I’ll get them up tomorrow – Daisys cuteness deserves to be shared!

Daisy is well settled in now with her foster family. She continues to be a gentle sweet natured little dog who loves having her ears and chest rubbed and enjoys nothing more than snuggling up and falling asleep in someones arms.
We still havent brought the dogs for a walk yet as they are awaiting further vaccination but I gave them both their worming tablets this morning. These dogs have ferocious appetites, I think I could have hidden arsenic in a pce of cheese and they would have wolfed it down with as much enthusiasm!
I’ve just put up another pic of our little beauty, some family will be very lucky when they take in this little treasure ….

Daisy has been with us a week now and we’ve all grown to love her very much.
Because she’s still so tiny the children are able to give her lots of cuddles and attention (Deelo is so big for his age he sometimes knocks my youngest over!!!) and she just laps up every minute of it.
She has all the usual puppy characteristics – excitable, fun, full of mischief, chewing toys with vigour etc etc but when you take her in your arms she is so submissive, really really sweet and gentle, definitely a special little girl.
She will get further vaccinations this week so Im really looking forward to taking the dogs on their first walk – I’ll post some pics when I have them.
This little lady has stolen her foster families hearts and is not changing address

I could see that coming!!!!!!!!!!!
Congratulations Daisy – what a happy outcome for you. ![]()
You and me both, Lorraine!!!
I have to say, however, that the "failed fosterers club" is DEFINITELY the place to be.
Try not to "fail" as often as us, though!!!
Congrats, Daisy. A long and happy life to you and your lucky new family.
