This is Wendy, she is a beautiful leggy girl who is 6 months old and will be medium in height.
She is fantastic with other dogs and kids, she has really settled with her foster Mammy Alison.
This sweet little girl would suit any home. She is fully vaccinated, microchipped and neutered.

October 28, 2011 at 1:21 pm #106934MaglouMemberCan’t wait to meet our new baby! I fell in love with her ears!! That little silhouette on the thumbnail pic just cracked me up.
She is gorgeous! Going to meet Alison tomorrow and bring her home.
Bax will be delighted I know. It will help him over the loss of Hallie and
he is well able for a pup.
Will keep you posted.October 28, 2011 at 5:55 pm #106926LuvMyFurKidsMemberWell she isn’t going to know whats hit her but will realise very quickly that she has landed on all four paws and wow what a family and the bestest big brother to show her to play to swim and to trail big sticks and sometimes even trees back home to the garden just for the fun of it….
Chuffed for you all and Hallie Im sure will be giving her appawval from Rainbows Bridge!

October 31, 2011 at 3:04 pm #106961MaglouMemberHURRICANE WENDY HAS LANDED!
A whirlwind has blown into the house in the shape of whippet (mostly it seems) Wendy.
After a rather travel sick journey home she is keeping Bax busy.
She loves play fighting and biting his ears and he is such a good and patient and tolerant boy. He is reaching new status (if that’s possible) in our eyes. She is still very much a pup and given to puppy behaviour but Baxter is a really good role model and showing her the ropes.
On her first night she whimpered and scratched at the door for a few minutes then again about and hour later a couple of times but then silence until morning. Last night she went straight to sleep and not a peep out of her.Doesn’t she look like butter wouldn’t melt??? Don’t believe it. That’s mischief shining in those innocent eyes.
Wendy follows Bax everwhere and copies what he does. She has had a couple of accidents in the house so we are hoping she will copy him in this respect too as I’m sure she will when she settles down to a routine. They have exhausted themselves playing and poor Bax needs matchsticks to keep his eyes open.
Here they are muching on identical marrow bones. It’s amazing to think how great they are together in only two days
and just as Wendy is learning so Bax is getting the company he needs even though it’s from a mischievous child!
They are playing tug of war behind me as I write.
But there’s nothing like a good snuggle and a snooze on the sofa with your favourite big bro. Aaah. She is such a good girl on her walks too. We have tried her off the lead and she just trots along and loves all the fine country smells.
The two look great together, I’ll get some shots of them on a walk an keep you posted.

October 31, 2011 at 4:50 pm #106968juneMemberThey look like they are best pals
Congratulations she is a little beautyOctober 31, 2011 at 8:47 pm #106972IndiannaMemberI am a deeply worried ‘viewer’. In the right sort of wind your puppy dog just might take off with those ears . If I hear anything about a UFO being spotted over southern Ireland I will know what has happened. As long as she is microchipped you should get her back I love the me and mini me with the bones and as for snuggling up together, speaks volumes. Look forward to the up-dates.
PS I am sure she will grow into those ears and I think she is a little sweetie
