Hi we adopted Drico last 4 days ago and just wanted you to know that he has settled in very well and is doing just fine. First couple of nights he cried before going to sleep but thankfully thats over now and he goes straight to bed when told to (has to be bribed with treats!) We have taken him on lots of walks with his sister Mollie and follows her everywhere she goes. Food is his ‘God’ so as long as there are plenty of treats available I’m sure we’ll be able to get him to do anything we ask. I had forgotten how much energy puppies have so its been bed early for the whole house since he arrived!! Here are a couple of photos that I promised Tara I would send

Zelma you have brought a smile to my face, thank you so much!!

They look like they were made for eachother, well done with settling him so well.

Hi everyone just a quick update on Drico as its been a while since I posted my last one. He has settled in very well and has become a great addition to our family. Gets on great with everyone and greets you with loads of kisses everytime he sees you (even if you just leave the room for a few minutes). He’s a great help getting the kids up in the morning as he runs up the stairs, jumps on their beds and licks them till they get up.
Hes very playful and has proven himself to be a bit of an escape artist but we’re working on it and he’s getting better. He loves to go for walks with his sister Mollie and spends most of his day trying to get her to play with him. When he arrived first Mollie was a bit wary of him but he’s won her round (although she’s still the boss!)
Training has gone very well and after a few tricky weeks he was house-trained. We are thinking of going to dog training classes as his recall is still not great, (unless I have a pocket of treats!!)
Thanks again for everything, I’ll update again soon

Hi again, just said I’d let you know how Drico is getting on. We have him 6 months now and he has settled into the family very well. He loves his sister Mollie and follows her everywhere she goes.
Its been a very busy few months and adding a second dog to the family has proven to be hard work but worth every minute of it. He is a very happy and lovable dog and likes nothing more that jumping up on the couch with us for a cuddle. We have started obedience training with him as his recall was very bad but he has proven to be very clever and easy to train.

Hi it’s been a long time since I posted anything and I just wanted to let ye know how Drico is doing, can’t believe it’s been over 2 years since we got him, he’s still the hyper energetic doggie he was and is an absolute joy to have in our family. He’s loves everyone and is happiest when he is cuddled up on the couch with us. Thanks again for allowing us to have him :D

Great to see such a happy ending :D . I hope all the other ‘unwanted’ dogs can get so lucky.
