I adopted Timmyjust over 2 years ago.
Timmy was going to be pts as his owner did not want him anymore.
Timmy’s coat was coarse and dry on arrival.Timmy is now very much loved along with his 3 brothers aged 6 months to 17 years,Zac,Ben and Sandy.Sadly his 4th brother died 1 month ago aged 17 years and 4 months.
Timmy is very affectionate and loves the sun and relaxing.

Overnight and today he was so poorly he is now in the vets for iv fluids and antibiotics.
Positive thoughts please for this little guy who has been through so much already.I know he is in the best place but I can’t wait to get him home again.October 11, 2011 at 5:12 pm #106641kaydoyleMemberFingers x for this little man

October 11, 2011 at 6:06 pm #106648diannehMemberThanks so much for your kind thought and good wishes.
Max badly needs them as he remains critically ill tonight and may have parvo.
It is two weeks today that I lost my much loved Sandy and now to have Max so ill is truly heart breaking.October 11, 2011 at 6:39 pm #106642IndiannaMemberI too am thinking of you Max. You are in the best place. Fluids are very important, getting rid of the worm burden, very, very important and most important of all – those antibiotics fighting all the ‘nasty’ things that are going on within. You must keep going, we are all with you and I can hardly wait to hear about you when you finally get home.
October 12, 2011 at 8:21 am #106659ColganFamilyMemberI know only too well the agony of leaving a really sick little dog in the vets and the worry and fear that it brings. We have now had four that were at death’s door and all of them made it thankfully – against all the odds in some cases. Just hang in there, "storm heaven" (as my mum says – if that is your thing) and keep up the positive thoughts and vibes for little Max. If you can visit the little scrap, it might help – both of you!!! I know it certainly helps the doggie to see a face and hear a voice it recognises. All the best. Everything crossed for you and the little guy.
October 12, 2011 at 10:54 pm #106675diannehMemberThanks so much for all your support.
I visited Max this evening and he had a long cuddle .
Max remains critical with his heart rate and temperature low,he now has potassium added to his iv to help his heart rate.It increased from 40 to 60 but is still very low.
Max is such a cutie. The vets and nurses are so good with him,it helps.
Max is constantly in my thoughts and prayers.Keep fighting little one.October 12, 2011 at 11:27 pm #106673LuvMyFurKidsMemberI bet his improvement was more down to his healing cuddle …..we are all rooting for this little guy and you and the family.
Keeping you all in our thoughts.October 14, 2011 at 11:51 pm #106695diannehMemberMax has improved a little today,I pray the improvement will continue.
As my vet shuts for the weekend Max has to move to UCD tomorrow till
Monday as he still needs iv fluids and meds.Thoughts with Max please as he has to adjust to another move and that the improvement will continue.Thanks.October 18, 2011 at 3:39 pm #106761kyelblueMemberHow is max doing,we hope he is well and would like to wish him and his family the very best, you areall in our thoughts KYELBLUE,SINDY
October 18, 2011 at 7:13 pm #106764diannehMemberHi,Timmy is pleased to tell you that his brother Max is home at last.
Prayers were answered as the vets did not think he would pull through.
Max goes for a check up again tomorrow. He is very very thin,he had not eaten for 8 days.I have to feed him every 1 to 2 hours.Max is very reluctant to eat the special tinned foods which would do him the most good but he will eat chicken and rice, hopefully he will soon eat the tinned foods.Max is smart enough to refuse chicken even if there is a hint of the tinned foods.
Thanks so much for all your kind wishes.
