This little man is great with other dogs and would be most suited to a home with older children. He is a typical fiesty little terrier who loves his walks and the car

March 6, 2011 at 9:29 pm #84495skymoonMemberI met Roger on Friday, and he is a handsome, little fellow ! Roger is very food motivated, so can be fairly easily trained. He does have a few issues with his body and needs his confidence built up. So whomever decides to give Roger his forever home needs to be prepared to do the work! I found that he was very responsive to Ttouch and thundershirt was also very helpful for him. And once the new forever family is ready to do the work, they will get their efforts back in a loyal, loving and most charming little dog
And here is a quick photo of Roger when I met him on Friday:

Roger is now all free of knots and tangles thanks to Jetta (groomer) .
He is excellent on lead and loves his walks..At the moment he is all cozy in his coat and is cuddled up to me. Roger is totally non aggresive and is gentle with everybody and the other dogs love him.
He enjoys walks and playing tug.He likes company all the time. He is v good with food and is not greedy. He is healthy and his skin is improving all the time.He is gorgeous and lovable.

Blog on Roger
Oh Happy days.We have finally adopted the indomitable ,unpredictable, adorable roger. He seems to have settled in very well with the Hooper family.
Roger has a big problem with seperation. He canot bear me to leave him and growls and yowls and goes completely hysterical. To solve this I go out front door one day the back door the next day and if any neighbours see me going out the bedroom window one of these days they will say I finally lost it
He is so intellegent about food, which is my husbands job–he yowls at hih and leads him to fridge or press for his breakfast or dinner. Only problem is he is putting on a little weight , like the rest of us.
At nightime he sleeps on couch and my husband wraps him up in his blanket. When I come in in the morning he i still all wraped up,like a baby —so adorable.
Not so adorable when my friends visit. He seems to sense their fear a mile off and takes great joy in terrorising them with his howling and growling. Some of them are short of jumping up on table or chairs.
These are but a few of his antics as we say he is work in progress. We are going forward. Will let you know of his progress in further blogs. Marie

I am so delighted for this little man who had such a hard time.
I still remember the evening I collected him, he was so skinny and wired and confused. His real name at the time was Burger……..can you believe it
Now it’s all good for him. Thank you so much for adopting him and giving him a chance to be a dog.
