This is darling little Ace. He’s one of Meme’s pups He’s such a sweetheart! Settled in very well after Jane dropped him over (big thank you!!! ) Himself and Andre are staying at my house and they thought my male dog, Razor, was their mummy and kept chasing him biting his nether regions for milk! Very funny!!! Ace is sooo sweet natured. Very playful and not intimidated one bit by my Razor!! He is eating very well and loves his cuddles Here’s some pictures, and I’ll keep you updated!

August 24, 2010 at 10:48 am #100377kaydoyleMemberHi,
These little babies are available for adoption.
If you go to forms and downloads and fill in an adoption application form, a volunteer will contact you to arrange a home visit and if all goes well we can arrange for you to visit.
Best of luck.

August 27, 2010 at 6:25 pm #100527lizaliserMemberHi, Just a few words about Ace and Andre, We got them both yesterday, thank you Jen for dropping them off. They are our first foster pups. We have a 14 week old German pointer pup called Nora. The first few hours were spent monitoring Nora as she plays very hard! She reckons they are toys that move we think. The two boys were quiet for a bit as they got to know their suroundings and their new preditor. But soon enough the boys were scrapping with each other and running around the place, christning the garden and the house. These two are six weeks old I am told and so small. Nora looks like a giant next to them! They are so cute. Ace has a lot of bottle. He ambushes Andre at every oppertunity. He is going to be a feisty young dog. He is head of the pack between the two of them. Although Andre fights his corner pretty good. From my observation Andre is more quiet, likes to follow you around and cuddle and sleep. When it all gets too rough he lets loose on Ace and really shows him enough is enough. I have to say it is very cute seeing such small things learning to assert themselves. Nora is coming on so well with them, finding her soft mouth and being more and more gentle with the little ones. However she occasionally nips myself or Che because she cant play fight with the boys. She is on a steep learning curve too, and its really good for her to be in these two beauts company. They slept well and at 5.50am they woke and can they both howl! At breakfast the three were fed and Nora obviously finished first and was straight over to steal some of the pups food. Amazingly Ace turned around and proper growled and defended his food. As I said a lot of bottle. I’ll put up some photos in a bit, we have loads now. The three of them just love to cuddle up together. These fellas are just adorable and myself and Che have been smiling at their antics since they arrived.

August 29, 2010 at 12:45 pm #100572lizaliserMemberA little update on Ace. What a cutie. He has equal measures of feisty take no prisoners and big cuddles softie. He has the sweetest eyes, blue black like his beautiful brother Andre. He is a great match for our Nora, he fights his corner and is able to defend himself. She has a new respect for this little scamp, he really goes rasher on her when she starts playing too rough with him. And runs in to protect Andre when she turns her attention to him. When Andre and Ace arrived to us on Thursday they took their time eating, chewing each pellet of dried food. Now, three days later when I put their food down they wolf it. Maybe its because there is a bigger dog around who can muscle in and steal their food. I think Ace will be more spaniel like, he has mottled legs and a mottled snout, his ears are more curly and longer than his brothers. Personality wise, I think Ace will be a messer, full of kissy slurps and fun and mischief, ballsy and loyal. He reminds me of a little kitten at the moment, long whiskers and the longest nails.. He loves snuggling up to Nora and she loves sleeping in beside the two of them. Toilet training is going oOK, Ace mostly goes outside but you have to keep an eye when he wakes up and put him out straight away. Nora is teaching them both where to pee and three dogs pooing in your back yard is a lot of mess.
September 2, 2010 at 7:02 pm #100802lizaliserMemberAce and Andre should be called Ronnie and Reggie Kray. The are little tigers. They battle with each other and then fall asleep on top of each other when its all over. They are such sweet hearts. Best buddies. And so loveable, full of cuddles and fun. These little boys will be wormed, microchipped and have at least their 1st vaccination before being rehomed. They must be neutered at 6 mts. old. They are pretty active and would suit a household with an active lifestyle.

December 4, 2010 at 8:59 pm #103180lizaliserMemberHi there,
its been ages since I left an update on Ace-now Sam. He is doing great. It seems that he has discovered himself as I am catching him trying to hump Nora. She is oblivious to his advances and it makes us laugh as its like looking at Bob Hoskins trying to woo Naomi Campbell. Aside from all that, the last few months have been tough at times, two young dogs growing up together is hard work. They pretty much destroy something every time we go out. We are learning to dog proof and its paying off. Two weeks ago we had a trainer come to our house and spend some time with us and the dogs. It was a great help, and we learned some really useful tricks. They are much more calm in the house. Sam is such a patient sweet fella. He does get the rage a few times a day with Nora, I reckon its his hormones kicking in. The last few days have been so much fun, the two of them love the snow and sit by the back door constantly waiting to go out and play. Its a pleasure having these two lovely creatures live with us. They have given me so much structure in my day and wake me up and make me get up so much earlier to do things with them before i leave for work. They have healed myself and Che’s hearts after losing our lovely Millie.
