March 14, 2010 at 2:16 pm #95149buzzsmomMemberWalked this fella today he is not supposed to be good around other dogs but he was out and quite close to others in the field and not a bother , he did snap when he was at the water bowl and another dog was there , maybe he just is not socialised. Otherwise he is a cute little guy who likes cuddles , walks well on the lead and will sit for treats which he takes very gently from your hand. No signs of aggression at all even when i held on to the other end of the treat he just let go and waited to be given the whole thing. He has an old injury to his right front paw which he holds flexed when he wants to get down to sniff but it dosent hamper him in any way. Nice fella.
March 26, 2010 at 12:16 am #95821MayflowerMemberI’ve been hoping that this fellow has had a rescue offer or some interest? It’s understandable how he has been reacting sometimes but I would still consider him rehomeable to the right people. I am also concerned about his front paw.
I’ll be trying some terrier rescues for him and will post on here as soon as I know if that’s any help. Marie knows me and I’ll contact her too. I hope he’s already had some offers though.

March 29, 2010 at 4:50 pm #83479MayflowerMemberTerrier Rescue UK has offered Fargo a definite rescue space.
Terrier Rescue are appealing for somebody to foster Fargo to give him a chance, so that he can come over to the UK and find a good home.
March 30, 2010 at 10:00 pm #95954MayflowerMemberAnn / Tempo is going to contact DID people to see if Fargo can be transported to safety for a short stop-over to be sorted before going to UK rescue space.
Hope this is going to be possible.April 7, 2010 at 12:53 am #95999CurlyMemberUnfortunately, Fargo was put to sleep as he suffered a massive stroke and after receiving veterinary treatment, the vet confirmed he could not be helped.
Rest in peace little fella.

April 7, 2010 at 12:06 pm #95964TobysMumMemberPoor Fargo. I never met you but did read about you and am so sorry you never found a forever home with someone to love you as you so deserved. Rest in peace little pet, all your suffering is over now – be at rest. Lots of love. xxx
