She is beautiful, is she looking for a foster home or already being taken care of? I’m hoping to adopt and would love to take a look at her. Who might I be able to contact? Many thanks, Elaine.
oh wow she’s gorgeous .. beautiful colour and little face ![]()
This little dote looks like chesapeake a bay retriever,! Shes a beaut!
Button (Emily’s unofficial name) is magical. She is beautifully soft and fluffy, with green gold eyes. She is a gentle natured pup, playful & cuddly. Button is independent and very loyal, she stays by my side in the front garden and has never tried to bolt when the front door opens. She loves new people and visits my friends or welcomes them when they call to visit her here.
She is very fashionable preferring pink to flatter her chocolate coat, and i have been accused of having a ‘designer dog’
Button loves to sleep on my knee in the car. She is experiencing life though is not ready to meet other dogs.
She is almost naturally housetrained, with only a few accidents in doors and none serious. The neighbours children love sleepy Button.
Incredibly Button fetches and gives the ball without ever being trained! She also loves to chew slippers, and chase empty water bottles. Today’s favourite toy is the garden rake, she pretends to confront it as I garden but runs when it chases her. That’s when she’s not sleeping in a sunny spot…
Last night was the 1st evening Button put herself to bed in her pen. Maybe her 1st bath exhausted her – Button actually likes to have water splashed around her while she chases droplets to drink and licks other droplets from her paws.
Button barks only at mysterious toys and the broken leg of the ironing board. As soon as she’s familiar with an object the barking ceases till she finds another fun toy. Passing traffic does not frighten her, button is a very calm little lass.
Button can sit, is learning ‘down’ and ‘alright’ as a release word. She is incredibly sharp and it’s so much fun to train her.
Button has excellent doorway manners, does not get feed from the table, does not jump up (though I encourage her to ask to be lifted onto me or the couch so that may change!), and is gentle.
Next she will learn to be less possessive over her food, never to chew my hands and I shall start to leave her alone for short periods.
Congratulations to Buttons! Today she had no accidents indoors, she wandered into the garden throughout the day to ‘do her business’, yes she will act on command!

Hi we just got to see amazing photos of " millie " ( buttons )!!! We are so excited she looks so beautiful. We told Ciara about her to soften some tears, she is unwell this week and we took in a tiny kitten overnight, Ciara was upset we couldn’t keep" Honey " she went to Last hope charity, they were great, picked her up next morning and is happy in foster care, all is well. So looking forward to meeting Millie on saturday. Thanks again… Michelle ![]()
Just checking if Emily has gone to her forever home. Didn’t see any up-date. If so we hope she will be very happy. She certainly looks like a great puppy! If not can you let us know?
Buttons has met her Forever Family but will not go to them until she has finished her medical treatment.
Brought Millie home yesterday and she has settled in great already!
Hard goodbye for her foster family but we will take great care of her!
She’s asleep at the end of the bed, worn out from playing all morning!
Will upload pictures of her in her new home asap!
Delighted to have her and thanks so much to dogs in distress and Keara for looking after her so well!
