January 1, 2010 at 9:44 pm #92155dogluversMemberWell this little girl is such a darling were all totally in love with her.. She slept up stairs with me last night as when i went into say good night to the doggies they were all asleep in the bed but this little one was in the middle of the floor all on her own…
She follows Roisin around the house and cry’s to follow her up stairs or if she is left on her own. She gets on well with the other dogs but not so much with the mad ones that just wanna play all the time she would just rather curl up on your lap and snooze..
She is so unusual, she is about 12 weeks but no more she has biggish paws, she is the same size as my springer, she has a bit of extra growing fur like she is gonna be a large dog and only has her 8 front teeth and 4 fangs the back ones are just coming down …… (i had to water down her food this morning as he couldnt eat it was like weaning a puppy) So im trying to figure out if she is older than she is and just mal-nourished or is she just 10 – 12 weeks?????
She is so pretty in the face 2 half cocked ears and with the 2 black patches over her eyes she is just the cutest…..January 4, 2010 at 1:25 pm #92239dogluversMemberWell this littel girl is just the sweetest girl i ever had to foster….. Everyone in the house has fallen in love with her.. She loves the kids and just gets on with everyone. When she first arrived she wasnt to sure what the puppies running a muck was all about but she has soon figured it out, and wrestles with everyone even grumpy Daizy my springer who only likes to play when its her idea…
She has coped onto the toilet trainning really quickly and hasnt had an accident in 2 days…. She sleeps up stairs with us as she does have some seperation issues. She howles the house down when she is left on her own or even if the kids go up stairs without her she barks and howles at the bottom of the stairs well untill yesterday when she figured out she can fit through the banasters
Tom went round to Equipet yesterday to get supplys for the reptiles and brought her with him, She arrived home in a new harness, lead and a Equi-theme rug to keep her warm….. Apparently she was COLD (i was told)
Here are some pic’s of here…January 4, 2010 at 2:02 pm #92243dogluversMemberJanuary 6, 2010 at 3:35 pm #92298dogluversMemberThis little sweetheart out having a run in the snow with the kids to da she just kept eating it…

January 9, 2010 at 8:13 pm #92356dogluversMemberWell this little treasure now named Aurora (meaning new dawn) arrived in our house on new years eve so we thought Aurora was nice, a new dawn, a new day and a new year. When she arrived she had one of those temperments that would just melt your heart.. All the kids fell in love with her even my 7 year old that never ever takes much interest in the doggies that come into this house.. She even started sleeping on her bed… She just stole all our hearts and since we sadly lost our dobie x last june were on the look out for a special dog that would be able to take her place as thats what she would have wanted..
So the thoughts of this little one leaving our home just wasnt settling. After all the fosters we have had in the last nearly 2 years being involved with DID she is the one for us…
SO we have now just joined the failed fosters gang??? and thanks a million to Marie Suzi and Gwen for letting us keep her as we would have all be heart broken if the day had of arrived for her to leave..Here are some pic’s of the little angel settling into her new home, making herself at home!!
Sleeping with her 2 new sisters!!
Playing with her new best friend..
January 9, 2010 at 9:16 pm #86589ColganFamilyMemberAwh that’s great that she has found such a great home!
Good Luck with this little beauty!
We are also in the "failed fosterers club" when we adopted Tigra!January 22, 2010 at 12:44 pm #92889dogluversMemberMy beautiful Aurora has settled into the family so well. Its like she knew this was her home before we even did!! The kids just love her and she sleeps between there bed and mine.
She has even brought a spring back into my 5.5 yr old Gsd Jessie who now spends most of her tim rolling round the floor wreastling with Aurora and Daizy my springer.
She is going to the vets tomoro to get her second vax and i cant wait to get her out walking on the lead as she hates when i take the other 2 out and she is left at home..
I have also started clicker trainning her last week and that is coming on brilliant she is sooo clever. She now sits, stays, leave’s, lie’s down, and rolls over.. i have also trainned her with the "target stick" and she jumps to touch that lies down to it and spins around to change it…
She is just so eager to please her only down fall is she is addicted to people but thats coming on to and she doesnt howl and cry and bark as much when you leave the room as she use to…
At dinner time she also goes to bed when told and stay’s there despite Emily throwing food on the floor for the dogs she just sits and watches untill she gets the go ahead from me to get it….Here are some pic’s of her.. One of her ears has just stood up yesterday so she is going round a little funny.. Im just hoping the other one goes up to… Were still trying to figure out what breed she is..
Asleep on my bed last night!

She has been with us since january and couldnt have settled better, even with moving house tothe country she is brilliant.Im doing agility with her at the moment and she is flying at it and she loves it.
She is afraid of nothing except shadows in the dark but in saying that she would protect you to the end of the earth.
she gets on great with everyone and loves to play fetch with the ball and love to run the garden with Jessie my GSD.I have also started mushing and cani cross running with her and she just loves it so much.
